it was mentioned over on reddit by an amazon person that not only will they have the assassin's creed vita for $200 it will have some sort of extra bonus
What would you want in place? XMB?
I like the XMB, I'd be cool with it. I don;t mind the bubbles either, or I won't once we get folders or whatever they come up with to group them.

People on here somehow often think I am crazy when I tell them that their opinion and how they talk about a product matters. The ignorance drives me up the wall. Especially in the Vita doomsday threads.
Yeah, it's crazy. And to think that mods consider it being perfectly normal is really something else. I guess that GAF would have no members had they banned all the doomsayers. XD
On a happier note, can't wait for the firmware. Love me some updates.

I don't mind the bubbles but they are already taking over my Vita
(Mainly since I like to organize them around the wallpaper)

I saw a section called "folders" during the 2.00 preview video. I think it was when they were in the video section of the Vita.
Yeah, looks like the new video app can sort videos into folders. Currently my video app doesn't have folders, but I don't know if that's something that could be created if you imported them from the PS3.
Doesn't matter too much though, it's not folders in the main UI where they're needed.
Yep they're great. Smooth them out, let us organise them permanently and give us folders (or more pages) and I'll be perfectly happy with the UI in that respect.

Since Best Buy is supposed to price match competitors, even Amazon, I was thinking about Price Matching that $80 price on Amazon right now at Best Buy so I could still get the Rewards Points from Best Buy. Plus I have some Best Buy Gift Cards to bring that $80 total down a bit.

Am I the only one that when looking at the bubbles, first thing I see is the jaggies around the edges? Not the best way to show off that screen. Id rather a custom XMB.
The official sony one works very well for me.
Probably. Bought mine on launch and can't say i've ever noticed the edges.

I noticed them, but I dont spend a whole lot of time in the menu since Im usually sliding to the panel with the game I want to play. Doesnt really bother me.
I also have the official screen protectors. Package came with two, and I still have the first one on the system with zero signs of wear. Purchased both the system and protectors day 1.

You're not. I think it's a really good UI, they just need to continue improving it with additions (like folders) and tweaks. One small touch I'd like is for new apps to be added to the current page of bubbles you're on, instead of right down on the very last page. The current setup results in me editing its placement every time I install an app and it's annoying.
The XMB is a terrible UI and I'm pretty happy they got rid of it.

I find them most noticeable when turning the vita on with the default background. First thing I see.
But yeah, can't see them when playing something, I just though it odd that more thought wasn't given to first impressions.

Never. That's the PSX disc/emulator issue. Unless Square remakes it you ain't getting a perfect port of it because that's how it was on the PSX.

No that's not what I meant. I meant when is FFV coming to be playable on the Vita, like transferrable. It is in the EU, but not in the US.
