I've been getting insane download speeds on my PS3 all day. I even decided to download a couple of big games like inFamous 2 to celebrate.
Is this the start of a new era?

Support for PlayStation Plus has been added.

Downloading now. Can't be as bad as my wii u launch day update.
So disappointing. Went to giantbomb.com, logged in, clicked on HTML5 and nothing worked. HTML5 STILL does not work on the vita! This is ridiculous. No flash, no html5. It's 2012!!! I should be able to watch online video on my mobile device! I'm throwing this thing in the trash!

I am so tempted to pick up the AC liberation vita bundle for $200 on Friday after hearing about this deal. That being said I picked up a PSP go for Peace Walker and the GOW games and got burned when they released them for a system I already owned in the PS3.

So im confused if I already have PS Plus is there an additional charge to play the vita games? Is that what that $5 a month is refering to?
Oh they changed scrolling on the Home screen a bit. Normally you'd have to slide your finger 'x' times to go across 'x' number of screens but now if you quickly slide your finger and hold your position you quickly scroll across multiple windows. Slowly sliding your finger won't trigger this though.

Settings > Notifications > Friends Online Status > Show on Screen! Such a smart feature to have the option NOT to have names pop up all time! Figures Vita would be the first.

I think the only other vita games I was even remotely interested in were Rayman Origins and the new Assassins Creed. Still Sony just convinced me to pick up a vita

In the Content Management app. When you first load it it will ask if you want to connect to a PC, PS3 or PS Plus Online storage.
As for Wifi Content management, it requires the latest CMA app here: http://cma.dl.playstation.net/cma/win/en/index.html
There is a device registration process where you punch in a number generated on the PC into your Vita. After that you can transfer files on the same network.
Welp I feel like an idiot now haha.
On the other hand, email app is pretty slick although having a smart phone renders it kinda useless. It's nice to see it's a smart app in the sense that you can have it open at the same time as games.
Also like how less-cluttered Near is now and being able to change the individual Notifications settings for each app is very nice!
