Hmm...Are the PS+ discounts available?

There were already a couple in the EU before PS+ was even announced for the Vita. However no new ones have been announced in line with the Instant Access Collection. I'm sure there will be some though.

EDIT: Carl has correctly pointed out what I had forgotten, a bunch of games have a 20% discount in the first week. These games IIRC should not be appearing as freebies any time soon so if you are interested now is probably the time.

I won't be using this for anything but gaming and I'll only be playing one game at a time and I don't mind downloading/installing a game every time I start a new game. As Wuthering said, I saw an 8GB card sometimes bundled with the console as well. There are some nice smaller games on PSN that lend themselves well to playing them in short breaks. If you mainly stick to 1 big game at a time 4GB is enough, but you will save yourself some headaches later if you get the 8GB at least. Shouldnt be much more expensive either.

That's what everyone says, and then they realise how amazingly convenient it is to have several games right there in front of you.

Get 8gb at the least. Don't skimp on your Vita, she needs your love.

There are a few games at 3.2-3.3 GB so you wouldn't have much room left for little things like making screenshots, putting some backgrounds on there for your screens etc.

Also, I could never have only one game available at once, I like to have a main focus and a backup for the times when I'm getting annoyed or frustrated with the main game or even just want a change for 20 minutes. For that, things like Mutant Blobs and Motorstorm RC are excellent.

Don't forget about Chronovolt. Even if North America Plus subscribers aren't getting it for free, the PS Blog did include AE amongst its release regions for this week.

You have a PS3 and a PS+ sub?if so you can download them over there and transfer them over to the vita when you get one.

Yep.

Just "Buy" them on your PS3. Once they've been flagged as purchased, you can download them at any time later on.

That game actually looks pretty neat.

So I turned on my Vita this morning and I had 4 Plus messages. 3 games have updates that were downloaded over night and that my trophies had been synced. Nice.

That is very nice to see. Glad I can easily keep track of what it's doing.

There were divergent release regions called out in the EU PlayStation Blog that led me to believe there was a North American release but I was mistaken on that.

I just tried sigma on the vita and then went back to the PS3 one and as fucking obvious as it is the difference between 30 and 60 fps is HUGE especially for a fast paced action game like NG,i truly hope that NGS2+ is 60 fps.

Yeah, I'm hoping too but it's doubtful.
I honestly haven't had any significant issues with the port, even with 30fps.

Ninja Gaiden on the go is so good that I'm willing to overlook things that would normally irk me on consoles.

Depends on how sensitive you are to it. And if you're used to one, your timing will be off in the other.

EDIT: I guess I'm weird because I notice framerate differences but don't take issue with them unless they make the game unplayable.
I can play MGS3D as easily as DMC3.

If it expires you cant play the games. As soon as you resub you can play them again.
