Ok how big of a stick do I need? Does the vita have internal storage?
8 minimum, 16 is better, 32 if you plan on keeping lots of stuff available at once.

I'm really tempted to buy this and sell my black vita I got used for $160. I figure I should at least get $150 for it after these sales are over but I'm not sure.

Gravity rush is fun ( but is a 1 trick pony kinda like AC1), but it is quite anime.

Really good. It isn't on par with the console versions in terms of graphics, but runs at a nice frame rate and comes with all the DLC characters.
PS+ is what really puts this over the top. The 3-month rentals to go with additional benefits that can be reaped on the PS Triple is simply excellent value. There's something for everyone in that list; whoever came up with the idea for this promotion is my dude.
I played some Sony Smash Bros today on a co-worker's Vita and came away impressed with its quality, so it's great that it's included. Liberation, on the other hand, will go to the first person willing to pay me ~$20-$30 for it. The PSP exploit is still a thing ensures I'll have an excellent library to turn to after I'm done with the Vita stuff. As much as I enjoy my Go, I'm very much looking forward to playing RPGs on a larger screen - with texture filtering, to boot!

A hack in the PSP emulator on the Vita to allow you to run all the same homebrew you could on the PSP. People find holes in certain games and poke them. Sony find out which game, take it down, fix it and put it back up.
The hack has never escaped the emulator though afaik.
I hope it never does, at least not until the system has had a chance to establish something of a base. It's hard enough to find developers interested in making games on the platform as it is. A hack that allowed Vita isos to be played would be its death blow.

i'm so accustomed to having to choose between sleep and deals that i must have overlooked that.
I didn't think I was going to jump on anything this black Friday. I think Amazon changed that. The Vita looks super slick, and when I've played it at stores, it has been a pretty good time. Even if the version of Assassin's Creed isn't great, I think it is worth it for the P4G and access to the Playstation back catalog.

Seconded. I don't even really like LBP games but the Vita version is hands down the best damn handheld game I've played this year. It's phenomenal. Down right spectacular.
It's his loss at this point for not caring about the greatest game on the system =/ It reminded me of how fun platformers can be after all the lackluster Mario games that have been crapped out lately drove the concept of fun out right out of my brain.
It was such an unnecessary line to add to the article. The point of the article is a PS Vita for $180. You can always sell AC3: Lib if you don't like it. The quality of the pack in is almost unimportant for that price. Shit, I'm tempted to buy a second Vita just for that deal. Lol.
Also, AC3: Lib is not a 6/10 game. It's actually pretty damn good, and does AC on handhelds more than a little justice. I can't really see how a fan of the AC series would be terribly disappointed in it.
Anyway, that is a crazy good deal. Then buy PS+ for 3 months, and you get 6 more games in addition to AC3: Lib. You'll need a bigger memory card, but for starters, 4 gigs will let you download some good stuff like Super Stardust, Mutant Blobs Attack, and one or two of the Plus Freebies. I lived off of an 8gig card for 9 months until I got my 32GB last week.

LBP Vita was not my cup of tea. Interesting concept. Very cute presentation. Just no connection with me. Another Vitabro favorite that did not do well with me was Ragnarok. Just made me wish for PSO2 or a Vita port of Phantasy Star Portable 1 &2 to come to the Vita.

In my opinion, there's a shit ton on this system that is so good, and the PSP backlog I have is rather significant as well. I love this little guy. Right now, PS All Stars is my favorite, and I'm loving it. I also like AC3: Lib, but it's not one of my favorite games on the system. Still, solid title.

Don't want it to end... Might go back and play UC1/2 properly afterwards.Thats not when deals of the day go up though. That is really screwy, they always update at 3am est. Especially on BF of all days. If you really REALLY want it I would set your alarm for 3am est and double check.
