I can only say that when I was given 1 month codes or 7 day codes that they added to my current one. I don't see why this would be any different.

It's pretty lame that Amazon is passing off the 199.99 PS3 deal as a 3 hour Black Friday deal. They're supposed to have it all day today and tomorrow, and the AC3 Vita should be 199.99 right now as well. I guess Sony isn't ordering stores to comply with their own stated deals.

Same here. Just bought Wii U, NSMB U, and Sonic & All-Stars Racing. Thinking about buying this for Persona 4. Also looking forward to Tales of Hearts R when it is hopefully localized (already played and loved Innocence on the DS). Have to downplay it to the wife.

Except for the fact that, even without the middling games, it's the cheapest Vita available. The games are merely frosting on the cheap Vita cake and frosting can easily be scraped off.

Agree to disagree. I think the value is in the games being included with the low price.

But clearly, Takuan thinks they're pretty middling if he/she is willing to dismiss them the way he/she has, so I was just saying that the excitement over this sale isn't only for the games.

No, I see great value in what's being offered here and am buying in if Amazon will allow it (I'm in Canada). All I'm saying is that I can fathom that others might not see it the same way, based on the system's performance to date, and that people shouldn't worry about missing out as long as they're present for the drop.

I'm with hlhbk here; the demand for this deal is purely imagined. "How could people not buy at this price?!" Well, look at the sales data. Look at what people want the most this holiday season. The Vita isn't very high up on any particular list, if it's on there at all.

So settle down. Everyone will be able to get one as long as they're there for the drop. I don't think it'll last for 3 hours, but I wouldn't be surprised.

That's UK (?) only, and not comparable as this deal also gives you a second brand new game that game out this week, a month of +, and $10 off AC3.

This deal has been posted everywhere for the past day, people on my Facebook who don't even play games are asking about this. Don't get me wrong, I hope everyone here who wants one gets it, but I will be floored if these things last more than a minute.

No way of knowing until the sale goes live. I'm just as anxious to know as you are. I've never bought hardware from Amazon.com, but I've bought blu-rays and video games without a problem in the past from Lightning Deals.

Note that the shipping can be expensive and they pre-charge taxes/import fees beforehand, but sometimes the deals are so good that it's still a significant savings over buying in Canada.

It carries over
