Episode 8

There's some really nice art and animation this week. The direction still relies on a lot of stills and pans of course, but in general the quality of art detail is a few notches above the standard Jojo episode, and there are some animation cuts which actually look rather impressive, even though there's just a few of them. David Production definitely saved up some extra effort for the conclusion of the Phantom Blood arc, and hopefully they'll be carrying that over to Battle Tendency for the fights which matter too.

It's actually going to be pretty interesting to see how they adapt Battle Tendency, since unlike Phantom Blood - where a lot of the story takes place in the same places or in similar looking environments, Battle Tendency has really varied locales and sets, and the fights also tend to require much more motion. Hopefully they don't let us down.
