Pffff, we would have beat everyone this year by at least 24 points in the title game. NCAA knew this so did a preemptive ban on us.

Johnny Heisman is amused.

I didnt like that staff, to be honest, Price said. I grew up in this state and I would go to the games about every week and wanted to support them. Im a Tennessee fan, but we never heard anything from them. Not even a visit just to introduce who was recruiting our area or a call or anything. It was like they didnt care whether they had any relationship with us at all, so how would we ever feel good about sending a kid there once we had one they wanted?
Ive been coaching a long time and dealt with a lot of coaches at every level, and those guys were the worst as far as feeling like they wanted to work with you or have any relationship at all with the high school coaches.

Seems like there's no hard feelings from highschool coaches in Tennessee after Precious got the boot:
There will be an imperial ass-load of job openings this year. I have a feeling that every decent coaching staff will be canabalized.
FSU's 2012 Schedule:

PREDICTION: 10-2
Thoughts on FSU's SEason:
- FSU plays in the ACC. The "experts" at Tomahawknation may think otherwise, but there's NO EXCUSE for FSU be out of the ACC CG this season. The only way I'll accept less is if Clemson goes undefeated. FSU should be favored in every ACC game except @ VT on a Thurs night, and maybe favored in that game, too. Again, FSU needs to, at minimum, be in the ACC CG this season. 2012 has to be year FSU takes the next step.
- But the main reason why I predict FSU going 10-2 this season? This guy:

He might be FSU's "star" QB, but he's soft/a glass canon...and apparently not too smart (football IQ-wise). EJ has NEVER been able to stay healthy in his 4yrs at FSU, and according to insiders, his backup (RS-Soph Trickett) already knows the playbook better than him. WTF? EJ has a ton to prove this season.
Yep, sounds about right. Dumb thing to do.
Our hope is that everyone's tired of trying to make Saban assistants work.
Our dread (though miniscule) is that someone will want Saban Himself.
I think this could be the year that Smart leaves. So many opportunities are going to be out there that I think it's going to happen.
Didn't realize that Bama lost their #2 receiver to a season ending injury against Auburn. That's a pretty big loss, obviously.
Not if you listen to Georgia fans at TD. Apparently, Alabama has no one playing WR. At least none that would make the team at UGA.
SEC Championship Tickets. Starting at $320
ACC Championship tickets, starting at....$316 less than the SEC tickets.

In the ACC's defense, 5 hours is 4 hours and 30 minutes too far for GT fans to drive to a game.
“Really? Were you watching the game? Do you think it mattered where they got the ball?”

Why They Matter: Baylor and TCU can each jump over Tech in the Big XII rankings with a win. Tech is currently #5 in the Big XII but could fall as far as #7.
Trust me guys this is super important to everyone.
...Guys? Guys?
I care, Monroeski.
I care.
Yeah, we should spank them. Little worried about a hangover since we left it all on the field in Norman, but in reality we're far better than they are and our talent alone should win out.I'm not actually worried at all about Baylor beating OSU. We gift wrapped them 4 of the worst turnovers I've ever seen and it still took them overtime to win.
A reporter asked Paul Johnson whether he thought the early turnovers hurt the teams chances to win. He answered that stupid question with a really sarcastic answer. Personally, I love Paul Johnson for things like that. He isn't a kiss ass and he doesn't really handle stupidity well. He may not last as the GT head coach but he is at least entertaining.Paul Johnson is such a genius. Maybe Auburn will steal him away from Tech.

not sure why satan would be happy about that
TD? Not sure what that is, bu Amari Cooper is very good and is somebody that would start at UGA.
You can also get tickets at the ACCCG on the 50 yard line for $50. Oh man.
Times is hard in Tuscaloosa. We've now had the following injuries to the offense:
(1) Chris Black WR - freshman phenom WR injured his shoulder during pre-season work outs. Would have been a starter ahead of Amari Cooper. Maaaaaay be back for the Georgia game, but doubtful as he hasn't played a snap and has been wearing the no-contact jersey since he started practicing again ~3 weeks ago.
(2) Jalston Fowler RB/HB - junior beast of a back. He was never going to be the starter in front of Lacy and/or Yeldon, but he was a bruiser. He also was our "starting" H Back. Losing Fowler hurt. A lot.
(3) Dee Hart RB/KR - fastest of our back's and our starting kick returner. Hart's had bad injury luck the past two years, but losing him depleted our RB corp even further.
(4) Kenny Bell WR - one of our fastest receivers and second-leading receiver. He was also one of the best blocking wide-outs we had. Losing him definitely hurts and is the only reason why Black may see playing time now.
Our skill position players have taken some beatings this year.
He isn't a bad coach. He won National Championships at the FCS level, somehow turned Navy into a winning team, and has the best winning percentage at GT in the last 50 years. His problem is that he is at a place that is near impossible to win at consistently and has fans with unrealistic expectations. He will get fired in the next two years and we will move on to our next 5-6 year experiment. I would also agree that keeping the series with UGA going isn't really beneficial to anyone. He's definitely entertaining in press conferences. He's just a shitty coach. I hope Tech keeps him forever. Though if they got a new coach and were actually a challenge to play every year that'd help our strength of schedule some. As it is, it doesn't do us much good to keep the series going.

If RU loses, UL gets the BCS bid...regardless of whether or not Cincy wins their game.Games that actually matter this week/weekend:
Louisville @ Rutgers![]()

Why It Matters: If Rutgers wins they get the Big East auto bid to the BCS. If they lose it opens a set of wacky combinations where SYRACUSE could get a BCS auto bid.

Go Big Red!
Not going to be happy if we lay an egg against Wisconsin in the B1G Championship, but I am happy all the same that we recovered from that horrific game against Ohio St.
So Kent State has a great shot at the BCS if UCLA loses?
I love underdogs and all, but that's some bullshit.
too big for work screen. Also, alot of old video from 2009-2011 Alabama :lol G-MAC back in the Crimson, ONE LAST TIME.
To be fair, Florida should have lost to Louisiana Lafayette at home, so I'm not ruling anything out.I would love it if Kent State goes to the Orange/Sugar Bowl and wins.

Still. OSU beat ULL 65-24.I'm pretty sure UF was just prepping for FSU the whole time.

You play your way into the championship game, which means youre the best team in your division. It doesnt seem quite right. I dont feel good about it for our football team or their football team.

UF also nearly lost to Mizzou at home, which is almost as bad.

If there was any doubt, Notre Dame to ACC was the impetus behind this.
lol, I hope someone points that out to him if he says that stupid shit again.Hah, what a hypocrite. Saban doesn't think it's fair for UF to go to Sugar Bowl instead of the loser of the SECCG. This coming from the guy whose team went to the MNC last year without being in the SECCG.
