The Player 1 Podcast Topic

Yeah I liked it too. If anything I'd pick apart the gameplay (or lack there of, way too many in game cutscenes for my tastes.) Haven't gotten to that part of the show yet though.

That beginning story. It seemed so sudden and random.
Well, I had to tell the story about how a 6-year-old accused me of spitting on her. Ethan--as a darn good parent--handled it exceptionally well.

And seriously, I really didn't spit on the poor kid.

That's what I thought. So the people there actually believed the child but you took to a public forum to loudly proclaim your innocence! Think they believe you now?

Thanks to Telltale Games for making a game worth doing 2.5 hours of podcast on.

You could have sneakily called the supercut 'episode 319' to help you gain ground in your pursuit of Gamers With Jobs.

Regarding Walking Dead, I'm wondering how the guys felt about the fact that the game has
two "Matrix Reloaded" moments where you basically sit down with a character and have them re-explain the entire plot to you again. Maybe that made sense with the guy at the end of the game, but doing that in the middle of the game with Christa seemed kind of extraneous in hindsight
.

I totally agree that the
Kenny death with Ben made absolutely no sense as presented
anyway.

Ben's a fucking asshole.

My only regret with the game was
not getting to kill him off sooner. When the first opportunity arose, I jumped.

The guy is an idiot, but that's not reason enough for me to kill him. Episode 5 vindicated my decision with his awesome speech too.

Well his idiotic and cowardly behavior got
Carly killed, and nearly got Clem killed. Not to mention put all of us in danger at the motel. And I'm probably forgetting some things. Fuck that guy.

I bet Phil cried. I imagine he's not afraid to get in touch with his sensitive side, unlike you brutes.
Strangely enough, I didn't. I was bummed out, sure, but no tears. Maybe because I had a month to resign myself to
Lee's fate
.

That said, I was welling up like crazy during MGS4's microwave hallway.

I don't think I'm even going to start the podcast until I get the final part of Walking Dead done.

Then I have to work out if I should listen to the ep. 5 spoiler section, or go and listen to the compilation of all 5 spoiler sections.

I actually had some fun listening to the previous segments while editing together the compilation.

Episode 5 has given me my first technical problems. I feel like I'm getting the full Telltale experience now.

I've managed to avoid save bugs though. Thankfully.

Do these guys have a Kickstarter we could back so I don't have to listen to a baby crying all through out the podcast? I already listen to Weekend Confirmed and that's all I can take :-(

Close enough.

A studio to record the podcast, just like the Idle Thumbs guys did. I'm pretty sure I'll move along at one point and find another podcast to replace it, it's just that they seem to fit in at this moment so perfectly as a good monday night podcast:-)

Oh man, what a spit in the face.

We'd need enough money to move all three US hosts to Nova Scotia and then some cash for office space.

Let's do this thing!

The second episode is kind of a big, ham-fisted anomaly. HOWEVER, the theme you describe is kind of the norm for every zombie movie/game/book/comic ever. So, yeah, kinda.
