THQ Humble Bundle is up (THQ needs your money lol)

Anyone else using gmail and have yet to receive their e-mail?

Just wondering if it's a personal problem or if I should just sit and wait for it to come in (or wait a bit longer and have the gift URL resent)

Paid a dollar, all to charity. My main PC is a 2008 laptop so I probably will not end up playing any of those games. I'd really like to play Darksiders though.

Humble Bundles always depress me that people value the games (and charity) so low as to only donate a couple of bucks, now i know not everyone is in a fortunate situation but for the average to be like $5 i think is wrong.

No, it is not the fact people value the games low, it's a simple economic calculation. If you do not care about the bonus game, and do not have strong feelings about any of he games you will pay the minimum that will get you the games, regardless of how you value them.

Screw you. Don't you want to see Relic finish up Company of Heroes 2?

Is it obvious where you put your name? I think I'll donate a large sum to have "Help Relic Finish CoH2" show up for a little while on the leader board.

I bought it for SR3. £3 is pretty decent for that, can co-op it with someone.

That's for the other games. Whoever gets it gets it, member or guest. I have Metro 2033 and I don't want the others, no point me redeeming it.

WTF...

I had a bad experience with PayPal >.> made an account and put in my credit card number, then when I verified it I got (and I'm not exaggerating) maybe over a hundred emails in a couple of hours telling me to verify two other credit cards which I never put in my account.

I wrote to PayPal but never got an answer

Use Amazon Payments like me!

Using gmail and haven't gotten anything. Was wondering about it myself.

My biggest pet peeve about Humble Bundle: You can't bulk purchase. The other day I wanted to buy keys to give away so I contacted them. They said I have to purchase them separately. Yeah, no thanks!

Too bad I;ll end up doing it tonight... :(

The split between "indies" and "corporate" is something that literally every industry wrestles with. Music, film, games, fine art, underwater basket weaving...

There will always be an "Us vs Them" mentality from the indies and I can, to a degree, understand. They had to take matters into their own hands to make the games they wanted to make, and here comes a big company that made some mistakes stompin' on their turf. "Hey man, back off. Big guys like you are the reason that we need Humble Bundles to promote our games in the first place!"

I can understand where they're coming from, but we're all here to play some games. I like games. I like when they are made more accessible to more people. More games for more people means more options. Saints Row The Third did some things that were awesome. I can play as a TOILET if I want to. I think we're all on the same side here. I don't mean to play the un-showered hippie, but I think we can all work together on this.

Humble Bundle inc. just shot themselves in the foot. I don't know how much the rest of you know about indie games (I'm an expert), but credibility and elitism are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in XBOX 360 where you can become successful by being an a******. If you screw someone over in indie games, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means is the indie gamers, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase Humble Bundles, nor will they purchase any of THQ's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Humble has alienated an entire market with this move.

Humble Bundle inc, publicly apologize and cancel the "humble" THQ publisher bundle or you can kiss your business goodbye.

I do hope they add a few BTA games at the half-way point. For example, I'd really want to try out Saint's Row 2 which according to Yathzee is a better game than its sequel.

Does anyone want to exchange any of these

Homefront
Red Faction Armageddon
Red Faction Guerilla
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine

For Darksiders?

As a consumer, I don't give a shit.

Bought above the average. No interest in any of the games besides SR3. Now I'm just waiting on my SR3 code...

I also bought because I'm hoping there's a decent game added at the halfway point like all the past Humble Bundles. Don't let me down!!

100% bullshit. Indie Devs want money... Humble Bundle is still one of the best ways to get attention to little known devs. Some will be too stuck up for this, and if so it will ultimately be their loss.... but it won't have a long term effect on Humble Bundle because the great thing about Indie devs is that there will ALWAYS be more, and as long as their are people willing to pay for the service, there will be people willing to meet the demand.

Are you taking the piss? I genuinely hope you are...

It's amazing that people still fall for this one. It's been, what, 5 years?

If they put Saint's Row 2 in this bundle it'll be the best money i've ever spent. I've never been able to buy it, because it's been always 5 bucks or 2,50 for a german-only censored key.

I refuse to pay 5 bucks for a game that not only it isn't properly coded in a performance aspect, but doesn't support Widescreen resolutions.

Another one bites the dust. He's serious, yo!
