THQ Humble Bundle is up (THQ needs your money lol)

Donated $50. All to THQ.

All Humble bundles before this I've given $1

Regardless of the indie devs who hate this move, this bundle is like a swansong for THQ...it's actually quite emotional.

THQ is about to die... this isn't a happy time. It certainly isn't a time for entitled indie developers to make a fuss about it. It's not like this deal will suddenly dry up all the interest for future humble indie bundles.

Went in for 10 to THQ, this pack is certainly better than the crappy bloatware like VVV or Rochard. Funny to see the little indie devs being bitter about this, I guess donating to charity is not the point.

Kotaku even joined the carnival of stupid:

I see Jason is keeping those high journalistic Kotaku standards up.

Why ask THQ or the HiB for comment when you just can join in the fun and take a jab at them too. You know, like if they were random forum posters. Oh wait, that's exactly what they are...

God, I was there for that FFXIII post, so glorious. I bought this, I only paid $5.25, but I literally have purchased every other game but SR3 and I already own that on XBOX 360. So keep that in mind when some of you complain about people "only paying the average".

I do hope they add a few BTA games at the half-way point. For example, I'd really want to try out Saint's Row 2 which according to Yathzee is a better game than its sequel.

if they do include it they really should include the gentlemen of the row mod with it... as the game is nearly unplayable on the pc without that mod lol

anyways picked up the bundle, as always humble delivers a solid bundle, that gives me great value and allows me to support charity in the same go.

So if the bundle stays at or near the five dollar average until it's done, is THQ really happy?

Seems like it would be hard to be proud of yourself if you work there and see literally 10+ years of games going out the door at a relative pittance, even if it does generate a half mill or more....

Hmm. I wonder what the "business sense" difference and just like heavily discounting your stuff on steam?

edit: If the average here turns out to be like less the $5, what does that say to potential THQ savior investors? or ... damnit how depressing would that be for the guys who made those games? I don't know, I love me some THQ games, but I still didn't beat the average here.

Not sure what people are so uptight about. THQ is one of the least offensive of the bigger publishers, and one that is actually heavily invested in the PC space, alongside BGS and Valve. Nothing really good can come out of them going under. The status of IPs will be left up in the air, devs will lose their jobs and have to look towards less savory alternatives in the industry.

It's not this takes the place of the next Humble Indie Bundle.

Tried to buy via PayPal. Couldn't do it because someone had made a PayPal account using my email which had gotten locked down. So PayPal has blacklisted my email. Used the other option. Gave the majority of the money to THQ, they deserve it.

While these games are really great and popular, I wonder if Windows only, and some graphically intensive games will hurt the total money raised. You can usually buy an indie bundle without really thinking if you can run the games most of the time. Metro 2033 is especially taxing on your system and I imagine Saints Row 3 is as well.

Humble Bundle inc. just shot themselves in the foot. I don't know how much the rest of you know about indie games (I'm an expert), but credibility and elitism are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in XBOX 360 where you can become successful by being an a******. If you screw someone over in indie games, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means is the indie gamers, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase Humble Bundles, nor will they purchase any of THQ's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Humble has alienated an entire market with this move.

Humble Bundle inc, publicly apologize and cancel the "humble" THQ publisher bundle or you can kiss your business goodbye.

for those who don't understand the context.

Don't know if someone here allready mentioned: But the Saint's Row Code isn`t redeemable in Germany. So be alarmed! Pretty bummed out it's the only game i wanted from that package.
