I am going to try for a platinum run on Liberation. It doesn't seem like it would be to difficult even with the multi player crud.

Yeah... the mp stuff isnt "difficult"... but tapping mindlessly for 6-7 hours isnt exactly fun either.
Ehh I wouldn't say its a night and day difference. Wii U games are definitely superior graphics wise but its not a huge difference. PSASBR definitely looks as good graphically as NSMBU for Wii U (not to mention makes me want a 2D platformer with the PSASBR engine incredibly bad.)
Totally agree about the app load times too. They're unacceptable right now on Wii U but I'm sure they will be improved soon.

1: does vita have the hardware pause button like the psp go?
2: if it is doing psp emulation, does it gain this ability?
This shut is so cash on my psp go, I don't know if I can live without it. Do you guys just pause the game and sleep mode it?

Couldn't you just hit the home button and pause the entire application?
Just press the PS button in the bottom left and the game is suspended in memory and you can put the Vita to sleep or go and do anything you like except watch a video IIRC.
Excellent feature.
It doesn't have the same save anywhere and close the game completely thing that the PSP Go had though which is a shame.
And yes, it will suspend any game/app and take you back to the OS.

Maybe someone else can remember what happens to suspended games when the Vita runs out of battery. I can't recall if it saves the suspend to memory or if it closes the app and you lose the suspend. I know it will close everything if you power down manually.

Ah so there is a viable work around, ok cool. It's nice to be able to fully pause a game so you can fart around. But its not like I'm pausing the game so I can access the psp's robust dashboard haha, so I don't mind the fact that if I sleep the device it will essentially do the same thing. I don't think I could live without it, especially as I commute.
That feel when I was playing Hot Shots and just decided the flick a tree and it *RUSTLE*ed.
Also, free roaming camera controlled with the gyroscope, and you can replace the skybox with the frontal camera feed. Vita!!
Lovely gimmicks but the gameplay potential for this thing is awesome. I can think of a port that that could be perfect with some added touch controls:

well right now Team Ninja guys are busy working on Sigma 2 plus and the cursed project that is Ni-Oh and maybe working on Sigma 3 for Xbox360 and PS3.
I think when they done with Sigma 2+ and Sigma 3 we might get an announcement for DOA5 port for Vita (since it's also on Sigma engine so it wont be that hard for them to port it to Vita I guess) but yeah no chance for before that.

I try to download Wipeout but it keeps trying to charge me. I have the PS3 version so it should be free right?
I still dont get it. When I am using these items, I never get enough diamonds back to make up for the amount I spent on renting these items. And without using them I get about 30.000-60.000 points. I dont get iiiiit.

what do you mean? :S I thought DOA 5 Plus for 2013 WAS announced yesterday at IGN IPL live cast? At least that's what I read in a different forum

That's a little backwards.
If you own PS3 WipEout HD and the Fury HD, you get the Vita DLC for free.
If you own PSVita HD/Fury DLC, you get the PSN game for free.
Basically, buying HD and Fury (which is now bundled at a low price) nets you:
HD/Fury DLC for Vita WipEout 2048
WipEout HD with Fury DLC for PS3.

Actually, if you have WipeOut HD on PS3, you get those tracks and races as DLC, and then if you own Fury, you also get that as DLC for the Vita Wipeout.
So in short, buy the Vita WipeOut, which is separate game, new tracks, etc., and then get all the available PS3 WipeOut tracks and events as DLC for it, if you own that already.

That's why you play the lottery every day.
I currently spend about 1000 gems per round and get maybe 300 back, but if I have 2 or 3 good rounds I level up and get another 3500 gems. So with that and the daily lottery you keep enough gems on hand to play.
AI currently use the Green totem (get 2 green blocks back to back that YOU made happen and he grabs all the gems from the board to increase your multi), the max gems bonus, the lightning bonus and the one that takes away x amount of stones of the same colour.
My best score so far is 18 million I think at level 60.

Yeah, over the lifetime of the device, but if it's something you're interested in and you already have an AT&T account, you might be able to do the whole "add a line for $10" and get the special pricing.
