After 7:30 playing, just completed chapter 9 of Gravity Rush
(the one where you defeat the thief)
.

Do you remember if the game is too much long?

I'm skipping most of the challenge optional missions in order to do them later once I have the character more upgraded.

Both the artstyle, the world, the gameplay and the game concept itself are really amazing, fun and unique. I also love the graphics, the characters, the dialogs, the graphics and the smoooooth animations. Clearly the only bad thing that I can say is that doesn't use native res. Other than that, pure gold and iconic. Hope it becomes a popular IP and Kat becomes really popular.

God bless PS+ (and Kaz).
Do the challenges get easier to do after upgrading stats a bit? I'm also wondering if I should be holding off the challenges till I finish the story or do them as they open up. I'm finding it difficult to even silver rank the few challenges I've done so far let alone gold. I'm only up to chapter 3 or so whenever Kat fixed up her new home.

As for the story I hear its not very long at all.

I use to get bronze with some effort, but silver and gold seem always too dificult. Since most of the challenges are about using a single special attack, I assume that they'll be way easier once I upgraded it a lot, and also upgraded the filling bar, recover time etc, so I'll wait to get easier silvers and some gold later. At least until now seems quite easy to keep upgrading stuff without backtracking.

it got easier as you upgrade your character, you fly faster, attack harder, and can carry more item/people at once for those few mission that require you to transfer people or objects

there are still a couple really hard mission that you'll need to do a few times and memorize the best route and done as perfectly as possible.

What is Zero Escape exactly?

Also is there any chance of a Street Fighter 4 Vita?

Highly doubtful on SF4, Capcom is pushing SFXT as hard as they possibly can, seems like.

Might have more of a chance to have Darkstalkers Resurrection though (please)

Played the demo of Dynasty Warriors Next. Touch screen stuff wasn't such a huge deal. Definitely fun and I'll be thinking hard about buying it in some form or another. Think I'll just get the cart to save my 16gb card a little bit.

Other than straight up deleting stuff you have installed, is there any easier way to micromanage your memory card stuff? And is there any way to see how much space something is taking up?

Not so sure on how to micromanage other than backing things up, but to see how much space something takes up...

Press and hold the screen on the live area for a few seconds until you're able to mvoe the bubbles around, then hit whichever bubble you want and select Information. Then it should tell ya exactly what you need.

Yeah, Zeer0id for some reason stopped posting here when the WiiU launched. And I don't know what happened to Lunch.

yeah :(

maybe one day theyll return...

Van, you should try to uncover whether Sonic Racing Vita is coming out this year, or will be delayed alongside 3DS version for 2013? Was 12/11, now is 12/18 - with 0 info. Im tempted to un reserve my preorder if its indeed delayed...

I think we just have to take a wait-and-see approach. It's hard to tell. It's disappointing how little info we are getting in regards to...well...ANYTHING about the game, whether that's release dates or game info.

For some reason when I try to copy my vita games onto the PS3 using the content manager, the copy will complete, but when I go to my PS3 and check the games section the game won't be there. Is anyone else having this problem? Or is it just somewhere else?

Are Vita PSN saves seriously not stored on the memory card when you delete the game? Just lost a bunch of progress in Hot Shots cus I wanted to try out Uncharted. You have to back everything up again whenever you want to swap out a game on the card?

Zero Escape is a fantastic mindf*ck visual novel series, with some escape-the-room puzzles in between. The first game in the series was 999, on the original DS, the new one is Virtue's Last Reward, and is on both 3DS and Vita.

Really looking forward to this new one, gonna import my copy soon

Got Lumines from the Amazon-$15 sale last week; but didn't played it untill some moments ago.

Damn, so awesome.
I still suck a lot on it, but... gotta love the music and the colors! XD

Struck a deal with the Mrs so I can buy a Vita without feeling guilty about it :)

Should I go 16Gb or 32GB for memory card?

Is the official Vita Starter Kit any good (do you really need screen protector and case)?

Retail games are region free right, as in I can import games no matter what region PSN account I register on system (will trophies and such also work)?
From what I've found only DLC will be a problem.

Will you be able to transfer games between Vita and PC, or just PS3 and Vita?

My first post of the day so I'm catching up with you overnight (for me) folks.

Add yourself here, ID list here.

As for no screen protector, I've had mine since launch in the nude, lol.

Been a Vita owner since day one and a contributor to every Vita threads since it was announced. How the fuck have I only just put my name on this list?

I don't spend them and I have about 300000. I am afraid of spending because I am sure I will lose interest after spending them all. I think I will start using them at 1000000. I am level 50 if I recall correctly.

The game is really addictive.

Wow man just spend them! The most I've ever had was about 25000 and that lasted me a good week or so while using totems and stuff.

Why would you use a screen protector? It always makes the screen look worse and this thing has some good plastic that is almost as durable as gorilla glass but doesn't shatter that easily when you drop it. You will need a lot of force to scratch this.

I've ha da hori on since launch and it's been fantastic. I only know it's there because I put it there but it doesn't get in the way at all.

Has Sony come up with a solution to save your sphere settings from memory card to memory card? In other words if I have more than one memory card for games or one for videos & music. Do I have to readjust the way I have my games set up every time I switch memory cards!?!? It discourages me from even investing in more memory cards if I have to scroll through pages to find my displaced games!

I told Yoshida that I would like to backup sphere locations and backgrounds and settings to the memorycard and he came back with "me too". Maybe it's on the to do list.

I think.. me posting here directly corresponds
to how much I play Vita. Before posting in this thread I havent touched it in a while to be honest. AC3 and VLR got me back to it. Was it similar for you guys or were you playing your Vita rather consistently since launch?

I've played it regularly since launch apart from one 6 week period where I was crazy busy. It got used all the way to Florida and back on the plane too!

32 GB card

Virtual five!

My Vita Collection, since I've never posted it before:

16gb card, all retail titles except PSASBR are physical copies, or else I'd probably have to have a 32gb card and then some.

There were no more Gravity Rush wallpapers from that theme and I was too lazy to use other wallpapers, so default it was for the last few.

There are no games to play on a Vita. This post clearly proves this.

Are Vita PSN saves seriously not stored on the memory card when you delete the game? Just lost a bunch of progress in Hot Shots cus I wanted to try out Uncharted. You have to back everything up again whenever you want to swap out a game on the card?

Correct. The save is tied to the bubble. If you remove the bubble you remove the save. If you are a PS+ subscriber then life is easy as you can just save to the cloud. If not, or if you have a slow connection to the web and so redownloading the game will take ages, you need to backup the whole file, game data and game save and all to a PC/MAC/PS3. At least with the PC and I assume the MAC you can backup wirelessly.

Cloud saving has made life much easier in that regard.

How many games to you plan on owning digitally? Do you plan on signing up for PS+? Do you want to play PSP or PS1 games as well? What about music and video? Can you afford a 32gb?

If your answers are: at least some, yes, yes, yes & yes; Buy a 32GB.

I've had a Hori full face protector on since launch an it is excellent, others have gone nude and had no problems either.

All Vita retail games are indeed region free so you can import away. Many though have region locked DLC or Online Passes though I have a nagging feeling that there are a few that don't, though I have no idea why I think this.

You cannot download anything for the Vita from the PSN via a PC, only via the Vita or a PS3. You can however transfer freely between a Vita and a PS3/PC/MAC.

I wish The Walking Dead was on PS Vita. I would love it to have some sort of way to sync with the PC version too, so you can continue on the go or something. It would be so fucking awesome.

Random shots. They look so much better on the Vita itself.

He's second behind you with 914 posts. Just checked myself.

EDIt: put the pics in a quote dude, saves a bit of space and they look a little closer to what we actually see.

Done. Never really occurred to me to do that since I use an auto-resize script since this is gaf after all, but I guess it could help the IQ.

New Vitabro here (minhtfresh15 if anyone wants to add). Been enjoying the hell out of Gravity Rush as of late and I'll get into Wipeout 2048/PSASBR soon.

I've nuked all my retail games with the exception of Ys ltd edition and EDF dual pack

I think the only games that are actually "gone" are F1 and Asphault because... yeah....
Everything else has went digital.

i changed my wifi security from wpa to wpa2-PSK and i found that my download speed on psn has more than doubled on my vita.Is it possible to get a speed increase from changing my router's security setting?

I want to own as much retail Vita games as possible, even if I'm gonna upgrade to the 32/64 master race one day.

anyone else notice when upgrading to a larger memory card, restoring everything and so on, then you play one of the games that you restored, it says you're playing it for the first time?

Think there's any chance we will get a double pack for EDF over here in the west?

have you tried to check the Content Manager on the Vita if those games are on the PS3? I don't think you can see them on the PS3

Thanks for the answers.
One of the main selling points for me is PS+, and digital distribution is so convenient that I'll likely get some digital games outside of the free PS+ ones.
I just realized that the Vita has no internal storage at all so I'll go for the 32GB. I'd rather have enough room on the card without having to transfer back and from the PS3/PC all the time.

Guess I'll have to get my PS3 updated and online since I'll get some free games for it as well with PS+. A nice added bonus since I don't think I've even turned the PS3 on since Demon's Souls.

Do you guys know if the Music Unlimited offer is still valid?
Fine prints reads: "We withhold the right to withdraw this offer after 100,000 PS Plus Subscribers have purchased 1 year passes to the Music Unlimited Premium service at this special price."

No idea on the Unlimited thing. I imagine the price will go back up once they've sold out of them

I'm pretty sure the sub stacks so you could buy 2 or 3 years worth now at a crazy price.

If I was more into music I would deffo consider it.

Bleh, thanks. Have PS+; wasn't enabled.
