New Plus subscriber here, are US's Plus deals usually as rad as the EU ones? Arkham, Limbo and Vanquish seems like a pretty dope package

As was previously stated, EU has been "better" most months, but US has stepped it up many times as well, such as the Vita Plus launch, the IGC initial rollout, and for many months before E3 when the twelve games at a time concept was really established.

However, when I say "better," it does depend on what type of gamer you are/have been/will be. EU has been getting the "bigger, splashier, retail games" such as Red Dead Redemption, Deus Ex, and now Arkham City.

But me? I've already bought all those, day one. Sure, it's nice to have them digitally as well, but I much prefer getting games I slept on, or was slightly interested in but not enough to jump, or that I missed, or that I just didn't have time for, or whatever. Awesomenauts is my second favorite game this year, and I still to this day would not have played it if it were not for Plus. KoF XIII and Virtua Fighter 5 are, respectively, the best 2D and 3D fighters around, and I never would have known that for myself had Plus not brought them to me (well, I got an idea of KoF from EVO, but still had not bought it).

So hopefully that helps you make your decision? If you think you'll be frugal with your time and money in the future, and don't care about trophies being tied to your US account, then I'd go EU. If, like me, you buy way too many games as is and are already invested in your US ID, then I'd go with SCEA.

I just realised that with this Plus update SCEE is trolling Nintendo hard. You can either buy AC:Hardened edition for 60 euro or buy a PS Plus card for 50 euro and get AC and 44 other titles till you subsciption finishes.

Doubt we'll see either any time soon. Would set a bad precedent for giving away games only a few weeks after they release, and people would be apprehensive to buy new games knowing they may be free very quickly.

Probably not for at least a year. Most games that get added aren't under a year old.

Still, I'll be holding out for that.

It's much more likely we'll see special promotions and content tied with the games, than just seeing the games go PS+ anytime soon. PSASBR already has free DLC in the pipeline, and it's believeable that they'd eventually offer plus discounts / incentives on future DLC for it.

Karting is a LBP, so it'd be easy to tie it into those games massive DLC catalogs, and to work up the word on it through some content offerings.

The most daring you'd be likely to see is a solid Plus discount on the digital versions, maybe? Maybe not even that on ASBR, since every purchae of it also offers the Vita version download for free...

Multiplayer games (or games with strong multi part) with dlc (dlc of free game gets discounted) is a good bet. Revives the community and they get money out of the dlc. If the game gets a sequel or already has, it's also free advertisement.

We don't know the exact dates for the NA rotation schedule. The only thing you can do is keep an eye on the Expiring Soon section under the PS+ tab in the PS Store. That section is updated with stuff that's scheduled to rotate out on the following store update.

this is exactly what i needed for when i'm working out/ studying/ cleaning the house. no hassle, and i can actually choose specific songs/albums and whatnot unlike pandora and the others.

I recently replaced my ps3 and I before I did I had started playing double dragon but didnt finish it ; two weeks ago I went over to a friend's house and beat the game together in his ps3, since I liked it I tought I'd go ahead and download it and beat it by myself. I went over to my download list and couldn't find it, I didn't think much of it and went to the plus section to download it, strangely the game didn't show as bought, when I tried to download it gave me and error message and said to try again later, I tried a few times and got the same message so I gave up.

Yesterday I was over at my boyfriend's place and he was playing infamous 2 and I'd tought I'd give the game a try since it looked better than the first one (hated it, but for some reason I loved festival of blood) anyway, today I tried to download infamous 2 and double dragon and would give me the same error as last time, out of frustration I went game by game and try to download them, that's when I noticed a few other plus games had disappeared from the list, thankfully I had download those games as soon as I got my ps3, at a glance I don't see any non-plus purchases missing . Am I the only one having this issue? :/

It depends on the platform. The PS3 app and I think the iOS app don't allow offline downloads, while the Vita and Android apps do.

You're not the only one, I think everyone is having similar issues. The new store for some dumb reason has trouble recognizing free Plus games that were activated on the old store. New stuff seems to be fine, but the old stuff will just spit out an error if you try to download them via their game page. It should all still be available in your download list though. Check the SEN site to see if the download list is accurate and try using the old download list on the system by going to Account Management -> Transaction Management -> Download List.
