Tomorrow, Tuesday.
All the same. But yeah, I meant in the upcoming update.
:P I figured but I wanted to make sure.
Tomorrow is tuesday.
monday 2am over here :P

ah time zone jokes :P

BestBuy has Hot Shots Golf for.. $10 (i think) if anyone is keen

if my backlog wasn't approaching 1k games, and i didn't think hot shots will be coming for free to plus next year I would likely bite. but alas I figure I can wait a bit longer and see if I can't just get it for $5.

There shouldnt be anything PS+ related this tuesday. US offers change once a month.

there will be at the very least a free ps3 game on + this tuesday :P

the drop doesn't list ps+ stuff that gets it's own post tomorrow, it just lists the new content coming to the store. A free game for plus isn't a new game release (most of the time)

Which week does it change?

True, but there shouldnt be any Vita+ content for 2 weeks, no?

All 4 weeks in US will recieve a ps+ game/discount

Update will be out soon.

Not a game for vita but a discount rather since they do weekly

Ah, I didn't mean just Vita, I meant any PS+ stuff.

Didn't know this, I'm more impatient than normal after how much euro PS+ got. :P

can't say for sure on that. If NA is going to end up getting 3 vita games like EU will I would expect them to come weeks 1/2/3 like the ps3 games do, though given it's the first month after the collection was added they might come in a group later. Heck they might even do weeks 1/2/3 for ps3 and 2/3/4 for PSV we won't know for sure until the ps+ post goes live in 15 or so hours for NA (the or so easily could be an extra 12 hours after that time lol)

either way they wouldn't list PS+ stuff on the drop.

Ah I am just glad I am an odd one, and while I wouldn't mind the PSV stuff that EU got, I would prefer Page Chronica over any of the ps3 things that EU got... and quite frankly I don't know what the heck Page Chronica is going for nor do I have any idea if I would like it lol.

more on vita topic though it was amusing reading through Page Chronica's blog post and seeing the makers go +0.1% chance for a vita release to everyone who said they wanted it on the vita lol

Currently playing LBP. Gosh its such a good game and it came less than a year within the Vita launch which is just crazy.

Interested in that one too, but hm. Cant really drop 40 bucks on it atm. Guess thats a title I'll wait for to hit the IGC.

I am interested as well, but given I haven't finished LBP2 yet and I figure there is about a 99.9% chance it will be a ps+ game in the next 24 months,I can just wait.

Anyone know if there are plans to add more PS1 compatible titles? Would really love to play Crash/Spyro/FF5.

I haven't read anything, but I fully expect sony to forget to add the support for the next 18 months or so then stealth add them in some firmware that doesn't seem important at all where they don't even list that they added support and we don't know that they added it until after someone tells the internet they did when they had tried after every update in hopes to play spyro on the vita.

hopefully that's not the case though :P

Nothing bad about p3p cut that nonsense.

funny thing is if the ps2 version never existed I have no doubts that p3p would be praised as one of the best games on the psp. Did it make compromises compared to the ps2 version yes. Is it a bad game for it heck no.

I tried the R-Type games and the Crash games after FW2.0 and no dice in NA. :(

The list of games I was interested in playing on the vita that I got from PS+ when it was announced the vita was going to have ps1 support.

Crash 1-3 + CTR
Spyro 1-3
FF5
Castlevanyia SOTN

thanks to sony sucking it up though it makes it all the easier to stick with a 4gb card though... so there is at least that.

A comparison that hopefully ends this squabbling once and for all.

In a vacuum, Mario 64 DS and SFA3 GBA are excellent games that add lots of tasty extra content to what were excellent foundations. But what they lose in the transition due to hardware limitations (lack of analog and lack of four face buttons respectively) ultimately make them poor imitations of the originals despite the additions.

P3P is the same way. With no baseline comparison, it's a fantastic RPG. But again, hardware limitations (UMD size) render it a poor choice when the superior original costs the same and is just as readily available.

Its fine to state the advantages/disadvantages of each version. However, some are exclusively looking for a portable experience, as in for them the vacuum exists indeed since they either cant or dont want to check the PS2 version.

Its a bit annoying if people say its the worst kind of game ever, while its actually pretty decent. Some people even prefer the other additions of P3P over P3.

I do agree that I would probably recommend P3 over P3P, but by no means would I be as vocal against P3P as some here seem to be.

Well, those unfortunates are free to make that decision. But compared to those other more gameplay-oriented examples I offered, the sacrifices are particularly egregious in P3P because you lose so much of the impact.

You lose the charming and expressive character animations during dialogues, you lose the extremely well-done anime cutscenes, you lose the sense of setting and immersion (whether or not losing city exploration is a net negative is arguable, however).

You lose a lot of what makes an RPG good. And that's why I can't recommend P3P to anyone other than the mythical PSP or Vita-only owner.

If p3p had FES in it I would recommend it over the ps2 version. Hell as is it's my favorite psp game by MILES.

If a person interested in Persona/JRPGs somehow doesn't own a PS2 at this point but has a PSP, then yes I would totally recommend P3P as it's a perfectly fine port given the limitations of the hardware and without prior knowledge of what it's missing. Hell, the portability may just sway some people who own a PS2 and PSP and can choose between FES and P3P to go for P3P, and that's fine too.

Point is, play Persona 3 any way you can. Also, play Persona 4 any way you can. If the Chie and Teddie voice actor switch doesn't bother you (it's certainly not worth skipping Golden over) or if it's your first time, go for P4G.

8 months removed from the ps2 version I wouldn't have noticed teddie has a new voice actor without being told, and the only thing I find odd about chie's voice over is that it sounds cleaner than yukiko's (aka it seems like it's of higher quality coming through the psv speakers, I haven't a clue if it really is it just feels that way to me). It's a different voice sure, but it fits her character just fine.

I don't even know what vita for the europe got, I meant vanquish and stuff for my ps3.

that's funny I see sony on there on the top left :P

on a more serious note though it's good to have a new set of dates for me to get my hopes up that SE will announce a type-0 vita port so I can have them crushed again. I figured I would have to wait until the SE private showing thing they do every year in jan-feb for my next chance to be disappointed in them

I don't even know what vita for the europe got, I meant vanquish and stuff for my ps3.

they got
12th December: Big Sky Infinity (PS Vita and PS3)
19th December: Mortal Kombat (PS Vita) – not available in AU
21st December: Knytt Underground (PS Vita and PS3)

all of which i wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't even bother downloading vanquish, batman AC or limbo to my ps3 if we got those.

Wrong Sony.

my "on a more serious note" should have made it clear I was joking knowing you were talking about the sony gaming division and not music, but if not hopefully this does :P Hopefully in general we get some fun announcements though.

SOTN works. You just need a PS3 to transfer.
