There's a "See all specials" link on the right-hand side of the store page, just below the Daily Deal box.
I am officially blind. Thanks a lot, been looking for such a link for a long time. I mean, I know there's a specials list among the top selling stuff lists but I wanted the option to sort by price.

"Save big on controller friendly games"

Blur has 4 player split screen and supports the 360 controller... guess they didn't pick it 'cause the weirdness with player one being on keyboard. Not sure how you work around that. Steam lists as "partial controller support"
I played a ton of two player split screen with two controllers....

Midly curious about Space Marine. Sounds like the kind of game that would be perfect for my current state of mind.

Hmmm.

Hmm best way to describe the combat/gameplay is that it's simple, you have a melee attack and you have various guns to use to kill enemies. The combat isn't very deep I feel but it's fun killing dozens of Orks.

Interesting, somehow they bypassed Greenlight even though they are technically 100% indie. Is Valve playing favorites? Does Gabe have a boner for Mechner?

Should we all start making livejournal posts about our own games progress on Greenlight??
Does anyone have any information about how/why Karateka bypassed Greenlight? I think it would be interesting and helpful to indie developers reading this, if so.

Also, I personally welcome posts from developers about their game progress and Greenlight details, since it's interesting, informational, and benefits other developers both current and future. :)

Do you know who Jordan Mechner is?

When the whole thing first started, there were hundreds of games being submitted all at once, and they weren't required to fill in info about expected release timeframe. I think a lot of stuff slipped through the cracks because of the lack of scrutiny. Hopefully it starts to improve once Greenlight gets the initial wave of submissions like that "out of its system" so to speak.

That doesn't necessarily answer the question -- yes I like the original 2D Prince of Persia game(s), but Kareteka was the first game the guy made. Is it a remake? Is there a publisher associated? Is he self-publishing it because he retained the rights? Have certain developers gotten independently submitted games through because they are well known (a route Molyneux could use, for instance)?

Those are the sorts of things I'm curious about. I know that some people have connections, as Feep has mentioned, and some people have community support, like the recent fast-tracked existing multiplayer game on Greenlight. I think it's neat to get more information about what, and why, out for everyone to read. :)

It might have just been submitted before the change.
This could also be true.

Lego Batman 2 GET

I'm really enjoying it. It helps that it's spectacular in 3D, but I just really like the story. It's like Batman is played by David Puddy from Seinfeld. Not a big fan of all the melodramatic comic book stories, so I love how it just mocks that universe.

It's easy though. But I'd guess people know that going into a Lego game.

2ND EDIT: Didn't realize it was 66 percent off. Was 75 percent off during the BF sale.

EDIT: Didn't realize Hell Yeah was on sale since I'd removed it from the wishlist. Should probably pick it up.

It's a remake, it's independent, no publisher, he retained the rights.

I just finished my first purchase entirely via BPM, I even had to update my credit card infos because it got renewed a few weeks ago (yeah, I didn't get anything during autumn sale). Feels good.

Sine Mora + Tiny and Big + Hell Yeah + Super Hexagon = 10,10€, woot woot!

Thanks, much appreciated. I didn't read far enough on wikipedia, clearly. It's interesting how the old version almost resembled Prince of Persia in some ways. I don't know that I'd even heard of it much before.

There's a Steam Client update out.

Big Picture Mode and alternate install locations (for games using the new content system) are now part of the regular client.
I wish you could hide the big ugly BPM button in the upper right corner.
Great, now I can go back to PixelVision without having to opt in the beta.

Wanderlust Rebirth has been on my wishlist for a while now, has anyone played it and want to provide some impressions of it? I'd also probably only play it as a single player game too, so would it still be worth playing?
