Actually looks like the best year in a while. Solid line-up with some unknown reveals. I'll be gone Friday but I'll be refreshing Gaf for the trailers.

Still no PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale DLC announcments? THAT'S something I'd love to see.

Snake, Dante (the REAL Dante), Vergil, Cloud, and Sephiroth for first DLC pack, please.

Figured as much. They're really dropping the ball if they don't show anything. This next year is crucial for them to make as much headway as they can before Microsoft and Sony join them in the next-gen space.

Knowing Nintendo though, they'll probably have a Nintendo Direct about the same time that won't garner nearly as much press.

what?? they announced the first dlc for all-stars a while ago. in fact, pictures were uploaded last night. so far, all that has been revealed is emmett (from starhawk) and kat (from gravity rush), along with a heavenly sword/wipeout mash-up level. the dlc will be free for the first 2 weeks. there might be more to the dlc, but they have already announced this stuff so far.

This would be a bad year for them to start since anything they could show would end up getting contrasted with whatever "next-gen" teasers get shown.

Well, it's possible, in so far as literally anything at all could happen.

I expect something to get a Wii U multiplat, but, let's face it, the crossover between the VGA's targeted demographic and the targeted demographic for most of Nintendo's IPs isn't that great.

Unlike VGA's, GDC is not a straight up Tuxedo award show when they air actual funny bits like this in the past between awards.

Not sure where to ask, but will this be streamed via Youtube? Some friends from uni and I would like to watch it together on plug.dj.
 
I'm sure someone has predicted this at some point in this thread, but I wonder if Ninty will announce either a Wii U or 3DS Zelda at the VGA's. We're certainly due for some information and that could be that final boost they need for xmas sales.

EDIT: Yep, I get it on TV too. So TV + GAF on the Wii U Pad it is then.
 
So do you guys think Alan Wake 2 will be revealed? I'm calling it, if Alan Wake 2 is not revealed at the VGA it will be a launch or near-launch title for the next Xbox.
 
AW2 will be something Microsoft holds close and quiet until their own presser. It's not a big enough franchise, nor is it a new IP, so I don't expect it.

THQ gave the rights for the game back to Valhalla Game Studios (Itagaki) in July, later that month they announced a collaberation with Doobic Co., Ltd.:
