What is the reason he is throwing a second punch into the pillar when Batman is not even in the way? Damn you Nolan and your shit fight choreography. Make it at least Batman was still in front of Bane dodging the punches
This is going overboard now. Yeah, it could be flubbed choreography, or it could just be tha Bane is angry and the choreography reflects that.
Batman made him rage out when he knocked some of the tubes out of place on his mask. It was either due to that or due to the first whiffed punch missing Batman's face. Either way, I'd pin it on raging out and turning in to a violent animal. I think it works IMO.

tell me about it, one of my local indie cinemas has actually changed its name to "nolan house" and it has always at least one screen dedicated to showing nolan films at all times. last night they showed insomnia and it was fully sold out, when the film ended i could hear people talking about how well thought out the plot twists were and how well acted it was with robin williams.

Batman Begins had a lot of nuance, but that is crucial in such a small role. Following though, he carries the weight of that thing, you know? He's the lead, the whole thing is anchored by his grand orchestral performance.

Same. Watched it for the 1st time last night. I was a bit tired, but still, it didn't grip me much at all. Everything felt kind of contrived compared to the 1st two, Anne Hathaway, while hot, doesn't seem to be a very good Catwoman, and I wasn't feeling Bane much, either.
Definitely lacks the spark of Begins and TDK, but I'm going to watch it again today while I can, just to give it a 2nd chance.
