When they debuted that "phantom" fox thing with two characters a few months ago. My immediate thought was Liquid and Solid being born from the experiments on Boss. Metal Gear Solid 5/6/7(since 5 is technically Peace Walker, and everyone knows 6 is coming) I'm positive the phantom trailer is going to be the game of how Liquid and Solid got out of the experiments and went rogue, or whatever they actually do.
