He did not become a villain. In MGS4, he explains to Snake that he created both fortresses to amass an army to destroy Zero and the Patriots. Solid Snake had been unknowingly sent by the Patriots to take him out.

This is definitely the elevator in which you first saw Psychomantis.
Also fake.

He was in Rhodesia during the Rhodesian Civil War (ended in 1979) and there are hints the game takes place in Rhodesia (the dog).

guys help me:
Grey Fox had his nose and ears cut during the mozambican civil war in 1977 and he was rescued by Big Boss (this should be after the events in portable ops, despite Null/Grey Fox trying to kick his ass there)
He was in Rhodesia during the Rhodesian Civil War (ended in 1979) and there are hints the game takes place in Rhodesia (the dog).
Now, are these events told in any game of the series i didn't play (PW, for example) ?

This scene wasn't shown on the trailer, maybe there is some hidden meaning behind it. Does that painting seem familiar?
Hah, they reuploaded 720 pictures. Maybe they got annoyed with all the Vita talk.
The person at the elevator, is it Paz?
Possible, but I think it looks a bit short even for her.
Its a red herring, after all the Vita is hardware equivalent to the PS3. CONSOLE EXPERIENCE ON THE GO.Hah, they reuploaded 720 pictures. Maybe they got annoyed with all the Vita talk.
Is it just me, or does it seem like she's floating.

This guy in the corridor, standing in the flames. Maybe he is Python? It just looks like he has pins in his head.
Compare this:

IT'S FUCKING VOLGIN?! LOOK AT HIS LEGS!!
OMFG !!!!!
I'd bet if we can figure out the painting's title/artist, we'd have something to talk about here. It's familiar to me but I don't know either artist nor title.
As I said in the other thread, it's a painting of the ruins of a city/town. My first hunch was Pompeii but it could be anything really, hard to say with the size and quality of that screenshot.

Not bad, not bad at all ;-)
But the painting, is it a real painting? At first I thougt I saw a river and a bridge, but now I can see some stairs and a complex of walls in the background. Are there some ruins in Zanzibar?

His nose and ears were cut off during MG2. PW happens before MG1.
I straightened up the painting and enlarged it a bit. It's not ringing any bells for me.

How are people not seeing this face!?
It looks like mantis's face on PSX
the painting is insignificant.

Why would someone go through the trouble pretending? Who knows. I mean, Kojima is pretending already. We don't need more pretenders.
