PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

With that size and PSN's really slow speeds I would want something like Uncharted 2 or one of the flagship games. Not one of the 10 street fighter 4s.

The game is 18GB but you need 36GB free to download it.

But yeah 18GB is ridiculous. Would take me an astronomical amount of time to download that

So we have the 1080p movie (SFII?) along with the game or something? I might actually be interested in downloading only if the DLC is also reduced in price.

Probably just the character intros/endings in 1080p bulking up the download. Well, actually the game is 720p and probably doesn't switch resolutions, so the movies might not be in 1080p. I dunno. It 's the only thing I can think of being different than the ~7 GB 360 version.

It's close to DC Universe Online and that fucker took me 6.5 hours off a 150Mb connection, stupid PSN slow-downed speeds

Hmm, how do I cancel my PS Plus subscription? I'm at the website and can't find it. =/

You can't "cancel" a subscription, but you can turn off auto-renew so it ends at the end of the time you've paid for.

On PS3. Account management -> Transaction history -> Services -> Playstation Plus.

On Vita. Playstation Store -> Options -> Services -> Playstation Plus

Don't think you can do it on the website.

I think I have Rochard on Steam from an Indie Bundle, though I've never tried it. I played my brother's copy of vanilla SF4 back when it came out and didn't really care for it, but maybe I'll give this one a shot. It didn't seem like a bad game, I just have no interest in fighting games.

Random Edit: I just started Outland this weekend and digging it so far, having never even heard of it before it went free. Very pretty, but switching colors does take some getting used to. Loving the boss battles especially, the High Priestess was awesome.

Thanks, just cancelled the auto-renewal. :)

Cant i dont think. But why would you want to? You cant get a refund anyway.
Because I don't have the funds to have a PS Plus subscription right now. And I needed to cancel the auto-renewal so it wouldn't renew it again on December 12.

You can, but they made it a hassle. The old pre hack account management site had a services list that let you easily turn it off/on just like on the PS3. The current SEN/Qriocity site, only has one huge Media list that combines the download & services list so you have to go digging for the subscription in the Media list to turn it off.

I seem to do this most weeks and nothing changes. I can only hope they keep the Vita momentum going from last month.

I think it would be neat if someone could make a publisher and genre breakdown of all the free PS+ games this year.

I wonder what that looks like and what publishers are taking part more then others.

Oh, neat. I wasn't planning on upgrading my SSFIV to the Arcade Edition, but I'm glad they did it for me.

Euro gets Big Sky Infinity and all we get is freaking SSFVIAE? I suscribed to Plus last month and you're already making me regret it, Sony.

I never planned to buy SSFIV AE, I have the 3DS game and it's enough for me. But for free, how can I say anything against it?

LULZ, what a crappy update. So much for them saying they were going to have better games than the EU side.

They said for the month and they never said "better" in the first two weeks we've gotten the same games as europe with the same number of retail games. We still have two more weeks this month.

I didn't like KoFXIII, it wasn't accessible I'm hoping SF is a bit more newbie friendly and fun.

Did they really say that?

They said something to the effect that the guy thought they'd give europe a run for their money.

Darn have both Rochard and SSF4 already. I'm still very very satisfied with PS+ though, this is the first week that has happened to me.

Ugh..... Plus is really losing its luster for me. They just aren't releasing games I care about lately..... I have no interest in fighting games, and this is the second one in 60 days? I've been a member from the inception of plus, but I'm not sure I'm going to renew in April if things don't improve.

I want to try SSFIV but I can't remember the last time I had 36 gigs free on my PS3. I guess I'll knock out MGS4 and Starhawk to make some room, then see what else I can delete.

Very, very happy about SSF4AE!

I was about to buy it a few days ago, but couldn't decide whether to buy it for 360 or PS3. Now the decision is made for me. :-P My Qanba Q4 arcade stick is ready and waiting. As for Rochard, I know nothing about it, but for free I will try it.

LOVE PS+.

Not a bad update, I haven't played that version of SFIV yet, and I'm not really sure what Rochard is, but I'll try it out. Was hoping for something for Vita though.

In the opinion of a single person...
I already owned Vanquish and Batman: AC, so obviously NA wins this month.
This is a great response. Thanks. :)

Honestly, people are declaring the whole service crap based on their own particular taste and purchase history. There should be a script that adds to the beginning of every post in this thread: "In the opinion of a single person..."

Haha, are you kidding me? You were a member from the inception? So you miss the good ol' days of no free games at all and no cloud storage and no auto updates and no ANYTHING?

I would rather get ps1 games regularly (like in the beginning) than games i don't care about now. They just set themselves up to be so awesome after e3 and then, for me at least, completely jumped the shark. I like the extra cloud storage, but that's about the only draw for me RIGHT NOW. Hopefully that changes before my subscription ends.

I've already had almost all the free games since they established the IGC and the Vita IGC. I was fine with the bump up in Online storage, but I've been getting antsy on the lack of anything coinciding with me and NA+ recently. Not gonna call it the worst service ever or anything, but constantly seeing games I already own is getting a bit tiring. More so in the months were EU kept getting retail games while we got squat.

Why can't we have free PS1 games again? I loved getting all of Crash and Spyro for free. :(
