Muslims don't eat pork out of fear of going against the word of Allah. If a vegetarian was forced to eat meat who was afraid of eating meat, or allergic, it would be a different matter. But normally, it's not.

As far as I know muslims do not eat pork because it is considered unclean/haram and it only is a sin if it is done willingly. So being forcefed would not mean they were going against Allahs will. So in both cases it is because of conviction, either a religious one or an ideological.
