Funny how most of the best moments on the show come from dramatic moments like this and various funerals. Seeing Clark in those kinds of moments is what made the show for me.

If I had to pick anything to be my biggest guilty pleasure it would be Smallville. I liked the show for what it was. The soundtrack from various artists was almost always terrible, the direction was mostly uninspired characters were often either waaay too predictable or would change motivations on a whim, dialogue was way too family friendly, deus ex machina and head knock out/amnesia in almost every episode, so on and so on but it was still fun for me.
I watched it and don't regret it, it had most of the characters/storylines you could ask for, the best versions of Lex, Martha/Johnathan, Lois and Chloe. I genuinely liked these characters and although Clark got the shaft from the show runners over and over in order to extend the show I still enjoyed it.
Me too, I wish there were more like it in these super hero movies. Lets you feel as if you're there and superman really exists. It makes you want to be him even more as well. A similar spiderman scene was mentioned here also after he saves Mary Jane.
Mila Kunis would've been nice imo. She has Lois qualities in Black Swan.

Yeah those moments were great, but the most epic scene goes to the speech of Doctor Fate. "And when you show yourself to the world......"

Same here. It had a great thesis and when it got itself together (season nine had some stronger moments) it was a blast.

No, he just worries about what will happen to Clark if the world finds out about him, especially when he's thirteen. I don't think any father, even the best ones, would know how to handle Clark perfectly.
