I actually thought that was his necklace popping out from his costume. Not blood. But maybe I'm wrong...
Also surprised that the trailer already has almost 10 million views in just two days.

People are ready to love Superman again.
It comes out as soon as he opens his mouth.
Let's watch Superman puke blood.Yeah, you're right. You can see a little blood puddle too.
Yes, it has come to this.
An exec just read your post, farted and then went to go do a line off a urinal. I don't know what to make of that but it's something! My wishes for Justice League based on my impressions of this trailer... LISTEN UP WARNER.
It should carry on Snyder's serious impression of Nolan's tone, aesthetic, and overall sensibilities. Including and very importantly, SHOT ON FILM INSTEAD OF DIGITAL/3D. This will help to highly differentiate it's look from MarvelCU movies (which I still appreciate the look of in their own way). Bradley Cooper would do a fine job as The Flash, but don't bring back Reynolds just because he's "established"... in fact Lantern should be John Stewart instead of Hal Jordan just to distance it as much from 2011's incarnation as much as possible. Lastly, don't let David Yates direct it just because he proved that he can handle a budget... I'd much rather have someone like Matt Reeves.
I think tomorrow...I'm going to finally watch Superman Returns in its entirety.
I know it's said so much when this film is mentioned but that entire plane sequence is worth watching. After that though hell no imo.
It's more like a cure for insomnia.Returns is a good litmus test for whether you have ADHD or not.

They're establishing kent as the villain.First time seeing the trailer just now.
What is up with them changing Pa Kent's character? He's a pessimist and tells Clark maybe he shouldn't have saved those people? And that quote at the end?
The fuck? This isn't Superman.

Clark's gonna get the belt for saving those kids.To be fair the "perfect male role model/father figure" in some of the hero origin stories are rather boring. Would be nice to see Clark struggle with that idea on his own rather than be spoon-fed his destiny.
edit: but then he is the best child actor of all time.
I love Bale. I love Empire of the Sun.
Yet still... nope. Not even close. But he was very good.
looks like poop. shoulda got kevin bacon for supes. i hope superman overcomes his victimized purity of character to save the world again. slow-mo capes.
I'm not well versed on child actors but you better not say Haley Joel Osment breh. (although AI was amazing and Sixth Sense was pretty good)

The best child actor is Edward furlong in t2
"Ok time out! Time out! Stop the bike!"
Masterful performance

This has got to take the prize for dumbest-looking movie ever.
"I ORDER YOU...TO LOVE ME!"

this looks like the best superman movie of this decade!
Returns may not have been action packed (I still don't understand the demand to see Superman smash through things), but he still had that a presence to him in the film. The scene where he changes in the elevator, for example, or when he appears at the roof of the Daily Planet blowing out the cigarette. Singer evoked the mythic power and romanticism of Superman just by how he panned the camera around him. I dont think we've seen any other comic book adaptation achieve that yet
