How long do these take to do? They seem really well done, in a very short amount of time. I claim witch magic.

In my case it took around 3 hours. I USUALLY take around 15-50 hours for a painting, but this one was simple and quick and there are a lot of things wrong with it but *shrug*

I'd love a drawing of a NPC I portray for a Mage: The Awakening campaign I run if anyone's willing:

Erika Roland, roughly 19-20, approx. shoulder length black hair.
(If you're familiar with M:TA, she's a Mysterium/scholar Moros/Death Mage.)

Sorta gothic-esque in mannerisms. Not a fan of makeup, though. Very withdrawn and reclusive.

I could see her in a hooded cloak on Mage business, long skirts and/or plain, modest clothing when trying to blend in with society.

I would honestly like to see...

A really good drawing of an unseelie fae/sidhe male (or female, if you prefer). What is "unseelie?" It's the dark court of faerie. Not the bright, happy pixies or sidhe warrior or sunshine and butterflies. Stuff of nightmares, but the sidhe is supposed to be beautiful.

I just haven't found good drawings on the Internet of one.

Also, quick sketch I did while working on the other one:

Faeries make up the bulk of my work so this wasn't really out of my zone. Might have to do a better one where I actually work on it for longer than two and a half hours. :s

I suggest you start looking at the World of Darkness Changeling books. They are chock full of Changeling Nightmare characters.

I use a Wacom Bamboo and photoshop with a pencil.
I could be done with Paint, but I like photoshop more because it is all saved in one big psd file with each drawing in a layer and each page with it's own folder =3

Just for fun, here is all 42 layers visible with "lighter color" layer effect in real size (all images are posted in 2x size)

you kinda can see the isle of elba and the hawk's yellow

right click at the brush icon and choose the Pencil.

Pencil is like a non antialised version of the brush. So at the size 1 it will just put a single pixel.

When I finish, I use image size and increase the image 200% with a "preserve hard edges" so that the pixels are doubled in size and more visible

Couldn't fit them on the same page of my sketch pad. You'll have to stretch the page to get them to fit together. Haha. Total fail
