In the annals of movie history this movie TDKR, is quite simply a masterpiece. Nolan can be a little too high brow for some of you, so I understand your harsh opinions.

I can assure you though that these three films will be be revered for all eternity, they will be placed in a time capsule for future worlds to see what the height of our creativity as a society was.

Never will Hollywood look at comic movies the same again.

Two words.

Game
Changer

A little hyperbolic, don't you think?

Masterpiece? I think I'm starting to dislike that word lol.

TDK and hopefully BB will be the ones remembered. They're great (specially BB), but they're not masterpieces. TDKR's reception will only decrease with time.

If you think about it, all those quotes are very true.

Thankfully I don't trust those sources to define movie greatness. Not even AFI.

I wonder how much cash Variety got for that dick sucking.

When I consider this trilogy, I think Citizen Kane, I think Lawrence of Arabia, I think grand epic, masterful. That's just me though. I consider Nolan to be The premier Director of our time.

Come on man, are you seriously comparing them to those movies? That's a stretch. Premier Director?

Sorry, I wouldn't complain if you hadn't compared them to Citizen Kane and Lawrence of Arabia. There's just no way man.

Im not trolling, I don't think you guys understand the importance of this director. How lucky we are to be around to enjoy the magic that is happening before our eyes. When I see what he did with this revered character, I really well up inside.

Not gonna happen. Batman fans and most people in general love the film. Begins is already the least remembered.

One huge omission from TDKR is that there's oddly no interaction between Catwoman and Bane. Including a scene where Bane maybe grabs her by the neck and plays with the idea of breaking her would've done a lot for both characters. It would've further sold Bane, given more reason for Selina to be afraid of him, and it would've added merit to the scene where Catwoman ends up killing him.

I agree. That was one relationship I would have like to have had them explore. It would mean so much more as to why she betrayed Batman.

TDKR is a masterpiece of disappointment, rivaled only by those true symphonies of foiled expectations like Prometheus and Phantom Menace.

I think,

Prometheus is not a bad movie.
Phantom menace was one of the most heart breaking movies I have ever seen. I walked out and was never the same again. It crushed my soul.

TDKR will be regarded as an AFI top 25 movies of all time.

I like Bane more than Joker as long as I ignore the fact that he was being ordered around by that lady. I like Rises' score more than TDK's too. Not sure yet about the movie overall but I've re-watched it more times than TDK.

Begins is still the best though.

Me too. Its def. more re watchable. Look, Joker was amazing. But the movie is tough to watch over and over, it drags just a little bit. I did not like the whole twin boat bomb story. Also Charles, you are a cool dude, and pretty humorous, so no hard feeling man. I dig your sense of humor too. You are an ok guy!

I didn't mind it. It's not uncommon for Bane to be someone's muscle.

I still haven't seen TDKR. Part of me wants to leave the best memories of the series with Begins and Dark Knight.

Watch it, mang. It's a worthy entry to the series, and it'll leave you wanting more (even knowing there won't be 'more'). But that's always good.

"This is a movie that should be celebrated by all those who love movies. Period."

Has there ever been a more appropriate line regarding a movie?

This may be the greatest film ever made and all. But it's still a romantic comedy.

I wonder if Bruce and Selina get back into their suits to spice up their sex life.

'WHERE'SH THE TRIGGER?! WHERE ISH IT?!' while Bruce is looking for the man in the boat.
