You said TDK and BB would be the ones that are remembered. Popularity of films certainly would play a larger role in that, no? And TDK and TDKR are far more popular. BB is already forgotten by most.

EDIT: I should amend that. I wouldn't say BB is forgotten by most. Just the least remembered of the three.

Sure, TDKR will be remembered, as a disappointment though. :P

Nobody will give a shit about TDKR in the future. TDK will be the only wide-spread memory.

Not true

I'm sure because of the bad taste Shumacher left in everyone's mouth. Most were like oh another batman movie god the last one was bad.

Yep. A lot of people were extremely reluctant to see Batman Begins in theaters. Batman & Robin was that bad. Word of mouth was very positive about Begins, and the GAF box-office threads were ecstatic when Begins reached $200 million. But Begins didn't really find its audience until the DVD release and FX constantly playing it.

BB is awesome

TDK is awesome

TDKR is awesome

this thread is the worst fucking thing ever to have happened on the internet and I include cyber bullying and paedophilia

I didn't see Begins in the theater, because I was so down on the franchise.

Lol.

I saw all three in theatres, multiple times. Enjoyed each one for different their different strengths and relatively few shortcomings. None of them can be considered failures, in any definition of the word.

Chinner's alt confirmed.

LOL! BB was reviewed very, very well. Everybody loved it. Just not as many people went to see it in cinemas.

It got OKAY reviews, not nearly as strong as Dark Knight. In fact, before Rotten Tomatoes redesigned their site, you could see the discrepancy between online reviews (at 85%) and the "Cream of the Crop" which had it in the upper 60's, I believe. It's at a 70 on Metacritic compared to 82 for TDK and 78 for TDKR. Easily the lowest reviewed of the three films, actual quality not withstanding. To say everybody loved it upon release is a bit over the top.

Then I guess you haven't seen the rest of the internet.

Because, jeez, God forbid that anyone has a different opinion of yours.

Which ironically, I agree with.

In the annals of movie history this movie TDKR, is quite simply a masterpiece. Nolan can be a little too high brow for some of you, so I understand your harsh opinions.

I can assure you though that these three films will be be revered for all eternity, they will be placed in a time capsule for future worlds to see what the height of our creativity as a society was.

Never will Hollywood look at comic movies the same again.

Two words.

Game

Oh

you've been trolling :|

People in the know will remember BB.

The masses will remember TDK.

Nolan will remember TDKR
as the moment the worm turned on his career
