I was watching BB again yesterday and its interesting to see how different it feels from TDK and TDKR. It's almost like Nolan knew he had to make the opening movie more stylized and faithful to the comic to get his foot in the door but once it was a success he started doing what he really wanted.

Picked up the whole BluRay triology and rewatched them all with my daughter. Quite enjoyable, all three. If I had to rank them I would say something like:
1. TDK
2. TDKR
3. BB

Hmm, you went from the correct order pre-edit to the wrong order post-edit,
 
Begins was on yesterday on TV here as well, easily the most rewatchable for me. I still love Rises but I'm probably not going to watch it again for a while apart from a few scenes, whereas Begins and TDK I've already seen again this month.

I love the whole first half of BB. The second half doesn't hold up for me as much now.

I love Begins, but I always had trouble getting through the whole monorail section at the end.

And yes, there is something sexy about Claire.

Also I gotta agree Begins is the most rewatchable. My favorite is TDK but I can barely stand the non-Joker scenes.
 
Begins first hour is fucking blockbuster entertainment nirvana. I still really like the second half, but everything up until Falcone is attached to the skylight is incredible.

Can you guys imagine if we combined the best of all three movies to make a 3 hour god cut of the trilogy?

Stupid idea I know.

Begins' first hour is the best 60 minutes of any superhero film.

Spidey 2 is my favorite superhero movie overall, but nothing tops BB's first hour.

First hour of Begins, end with Falcone on the skylight. Then skip to the start of TDK and try and exorcise all the Harvey bits so its just Joker. Then all of a sudden Bane beats the shit out of Batman and then Bruce escapes from the pit and then Ra's turns up at the house and at the same time there is two Batmans flying around, one fucking up Bane outside the city hall and one not saving Ra's on the train. Then have Gordon shouting I have to save and then edit it so he actually says my boy, but never introduce the boy. It is the six cops all over again.

Seeing Begins again in theaters for the trilogy showing was fantastic. I was actually more excited to see it more than The Dark Knight for the showing since I had only seen it once in theaters in 2005.

I remember watching it in theaters at 15. It wasn't really LOTR for me but it gave me faith in Batman again and I was amazed that they did this to him after the Arnold movie.

And I would quote that damn film into the ground until TDK came out.

Hell no.

TDKR has some missteps which make it a little disappointing in comparison to the previous entries, but it could easily be tweaked into something really special.

MGS4 is just absolute shit that destroys the series central character, and should be retconned out of existence.
