GAF's GB 2011 thread

Here is what is going to happen:
Every day their is going to be video's and podcast going up on http://wwww.giantbomb.com and at the end of the week we all have heard what the crew of GB thinks about 2012 and the games that have been released in that year.
You can see the schedule on the front page of GB and it seems that pieces go up around 09:00 AM PST every day from Dec 24th to the 28th 2012.

Like I said in the other thread, I wish the GOTY videos were about the post-apocalypse and Vinny's bug-out adventures told in flash-back years later to a teenage or adult Max, talking about how it all ended and the last video games ever made.

Far Cry 3 seems like the obvious overall GOTY; unless theres a 'wild card' option they all prefer once they get talking.

Some did complain about Walking Dead and personally I think XCom is too messy in its delivery to be a GOTY contender.

I think GB will go with Walking Dead in the end, with a fierce competition between that and XCOM. Jeff will fight for XCOM, everyone else votes Walking Dead. (Ryan will at first back Jeff, then stab him in the back!)

I love how nuts GB gets with their video series for GOTY. I actually don't really care which game gets GOTY (haven't cared about awards from any site for years) but I love all the effort GB puts into this stuff.
