Gay and Bisexual thread |OT2|Bears and Twinks and Otters. Oh My!

For me, the game started great, I really loved it. However, after few hours it simply became boring. Because of the open-world design, you constantly go through the same areas, and the game doesn't really get any harder. So excluding the ending (that has a little twist in the gameplay department), after first 2-3 hours you literally saw everything the game has to offer. :(

Plus, boss fights that are all about long-ass QTE. :/

I'd have to agree with that. This is why Linear games will always be better than open-world.

Not that. the creepy old men after 21 year olds.

Oh, I know some old guys who exclusively like very young twink-like guys and they can never seem to have a decent relationship because all they seem interested in are physical attributes and the guys they date only seem to be interested in their money. It seems incredibly shallow and unfulfilling.

This happens a lot in NJ tbqh.

As far as gaming is concerned, beyond Batman Arkham City, and Skyrim im hopelessly in love with iOS gaming. It's a bit of a,golden age right now.

I still need to snag Dark Souls for PS3 though.

Side note: I started a closed group for guys with handlebar staches on Facebook last week, and just from friends and friends of friends we are up to 27 hot as fuck members, 90% gay. I could not ask for a cooler group of men. I'm astounded how good looking the pool turned out to be.

Protein: I'm not afraid of eating more meat, really, but protein shakes seem like a great idea.

Castlevania: Soma and Trevor are okay, but Nathan is boss ;) Also, I don't mind either Classicvania or Metroidvania, both are fun. I think LoS has its place, but not at the expense of traditional Castlevania with real music...

Death: This honestly doesn't apply to people whose happiness and well-being don't revolve around their relationship status. I don't go clubbing, none of the activities I enjoy will be affected by the shift from 29 to 30, really.

And thanks Delio! :P

BTW, if I could look like SHINPEI from BREAKERZ at 32 then I wouldn't really mind being dead.

How is it even possible to get to 1-1.5 gram protein per lbs of body weight without drinking protein shakes? The diet in the OP of the fitness thread has a protein shake on top of meat, nuts and a gallon of milk. Sounds crazy.

And what if you want to gain muscle and lose weight at the same time? That seems even more impossible with a diet like that.
You just have to eat. I actually don't take many protein shakes and get 250-300g of protein easily. Shakes just make it easier when you need that quick boost in protein intake.

And you can do both, you just need to be very careful and strict. High protein, moderate carb, low fat diet eating at roughly 100-200 calories BELOW your maintenance and you should see results.

Holla

What about tofu? Or quinoa?
Those are more viable sure, but even they pale in comparison to meat. It's possible to be a veggie/vegan "bodybuilder", but it is NOT easy. Prepare to eat even more than someone who eats meat.

Just went to my first drag show by accident, was expecting strippers like usual, but the show on Thursday is a drag thing. Kissed the winner. Ninja Turtle lady/dude, doing flips and shit in high heels. Met some new gays. Going to be a zombie tecnhno play. Kind of drunk, but awesome night regardless.

It's good. I had already played on my Sony Tablet S with a PS3 controller, but I really don't enjoy that so having it on a handheld is automatically much better. I also like the 3D effect. Pretty decent Mega Man-like game, if a bit short (but again, it's priced accordingly).

I am buying Gunman Clive from the 3DS eShop.
It looks cool and it reminds me of DKC a bit.
Amazing price too!

It's pretty cool. Went to look at it on the eShop after the talk in the Nintendo Downloads thread, pretty much had to grab it after seeing the price and awesome self-effacing trailer. It's pretty short (took me around 2 1/2 hours to play through it three times) but it's a lot of fun and great value for the money.

So GayGAF, what games are you all hooked on right now?

I'm on a weird rotation between new games and old ones I haven't yet finished. Flip-flopping between random bouts of Skyrim, SSX, Hitman: Absolution, and bought Dark Souls and the MGS: HD Collection on boxing day so I'll be starting those soon (really excited for Dark Souls).

Huge Steam backlog to get to as well, but alas... :/ Don't Starve is at the top of my list, whenever I get around to it. A friend of mine has been telling me stories from his time with it and it sounds awesome.

Edit: Also randomly decided to play GTA IV online with a friend the other day and it was an absolute blast, definitely going to play more of that soon.

I suppose I'm the only one who thinks like this here, but... games?
I just can't get excited for games anymore, this generation has lasted way too long. Right now most games are sequels with stale gameplay. And to be honest, the only thing that's on my mind when I try to play something is -needs more polys, ew low res textures, not enough AA-. The Last of Us is the only game I'm interested in for now.

Great game. .99 on iOS. ;)

Android user here. It's actually cheaper in the eShop than Google Play :O

Sorry to hear that.
This is what I think most of the time when I am gaming:

I had to review it for my website; it's a pretty cool game, it's replayable (now I'm starting again in the
duck mode
) and it's cheap. Also: it was developed by just one person!

It's weird, I'm the same when it comes to new "look at those sweet graphics!" games I notice every blurry texture, low-poly model, badly placed shadows, clipping, jaggies etc. However, whenever I start playing old games or games that are stylized to look old-school, I stop noticing those things.

I think I've been spoiled by various stupid "system wars".

This is so not going to work between this new guy and me...

He just comes across too intense and slightly drama queenish at times. It reminds me the things I hated about my ex. It gets tiring and we just started dating.

Ugh.

Nah, you aren't alone there. Well, maybe on teh graphics whore side of things :) But in general the last couple years have been pretty disappointing for me in terms of games. So much crap that accompanies anything like an interesting game, and I just can't get into the indie game scene, nothing really sticks with me there, lots of concepts I think are awesome intellectually, but they don't grip me when I play them.

I think the problem is I am more interested in exploring worlds than mastering mechanics these days. Young Dead Man spent a year playing nothing but Alley Cat. I can't think of anything worse than that now. I want non linear, open spaces, fantastical worlds, and yet I want no dudebro rubbish. Slim pickings. I'm mainly sticking to Bethesda games these days, ES and FO are pretty much all I play currently. Thinking of having another run at RDR, I wish they had released it on PC though.

Sometimes I feel like I'm too weird to ever have a girlfriend but it's probably just my self loathing...

That is definitely your self loathing. You are no weirder than the rest of us. As one of my favourite coffee mugs says, 'People only seem normal because you don't know them very well'.

Danny... -_-

Nothing wrong with wanting prettier games, I guess. But you're prone to find yourself in the situation you're currently in.

I for one I'm really pissed off that I can't find Ninja Five-O at a decent price, and it looks like this:

Um, wow... I had no idea Ninja Five-O was so rare. I actually have a copy that I'd be willing to part with if you're interested. PM me.

I'm just saying: you were saying you felt you weren't ready to date, he already annoys you and reminds you of the things you didn't like in your ex, AND you're not impressed by his penis.

Drop that shit girl, no need dragging it out!

You can be a happy gay person at any age.. unless you are a creepy old man going after 21 year old guys.

There are a number of younger guys who post here who have specifically mentioned only being interested in older men: are they creepy or do you only apply that to the reverse scenario? I mean, someone always has to be the older party and that doesn't make them any better or worse than the rest of you. Obviously, attraction is one of those things we have no control over, and while there are some who utilize it in... less discerning ways, this is far from being a hard and fast rule about the older/younger dynamic and is no more constructive than any other gay stereotype.

*raises hand* I mentally checked out of gaming once the Dreamcast was laid to rest, and fully "retired" four or five years ago. It has no appeal to me whatsoever now. Spending roughly 22 years with a hobby isn't too bad of a stretch, though!

I wanted to say something about that, since I have a relationship with a creepy old guy haha.

But yeah, age is a preference, but never set in stone for me. Who knows what cool guys you might never meet if you already rule them out because they are of a certain age?

You poor soul :( You don't know what you're missing

Thing is, I do know -- just because I don't play or buy them any more doesn't mean some of my friends aren't gamers. I'm not oblivious! There's nothing these days that strikes me as exciting or interesting; I'd be much happier getting an NES or SNES at a garage sale.

If my gaming consisted of "HD-twins gaming" I wouldn't be too thrilled either. But with DS, 3DS, GBA, PC, PS3, Wii and older systems there's way more stuff out ther I want to play than ever. Plus I'm getting a Saturn and a WonderSwan in February, it's going to be awesome - HERE I COME Makaimura for WonderSwan and Shinobi Legions.

agreed 100%

the 1987 shinobi arcade game on my wii is basically my go-to game whenever I don't know what to play.

Gaben was my lord and savior. I don't think I can ever go back to paying full price for a game again (unless it's something like The Last Guardian or Dark Souls 2).

That really sucks if its going that way already. What do you consider to be too intense and drama queenish?

too bad he failed us this christmas. nah. i'm being selfish since i shouldn't have bought the games on a previous sale.

PC gaming is the answer. More experimental games, already-next-gen graphics, and way cheaper overall. I was primarily a console gamer up until 2011 or so and I think I'd have checked out by now if I was still playing games primarily on 360 or PS3.
