Of course you'll be able to, they'll probably come out with a Eshop game/app that allows you to save 6 pokemon from you DPPlHgSsBW1/2 game to the system then transfer them to X/Y

Sure, there is that. But how many people, especially in the target audience, are going to get the chromosome thing? The names of the games have never been very "deep".

All Pokémon are available in the game code, but there's usually a lot of trading involved to get them all.

no, but they're all usable if you already caught them in a prior game and transfer them over.

You'll probably have to trade with older games to get some Pokemon but it'll probably be possible to have every Pokemon in the new games.

I did it when it was 493(?) and when it was 647 (when i did it only 647 was available) . Though really I cheat the second time and traded over the 493.
