I said that Smash was a primary consideration when making this fundraiser, and that is clearly evident by looking at the facebook poll.

How is this not win/win then? If we go by that logic, that means your numbers are so strong that a) it's a foregone conclusion your community will donate the most b) you'll get in and get to run the tournament the way your community wants c) your community will get all the positive rep that comes with being so large and so generous with your money.

Let them stick to their own playstyles. Ono seems deeply passionate about Darkstalkers 4, and I tend to say go with the passion. Niitsuma has made 3 Versus games, so he would be the best bet for a Capcom-only Versus game (using "Versus" here to refer to gameplay mechanics).
