Indie Bundle Thread - There's another one?

Now that The Journey Down: Chapter 1 is on Steam, if previous history is any indication, purchasers of the Indie Royale Summer bundle and the IndieGameStand offer should be getting Steam keys eventually.

New Indie Gala bundle. (Magicka)

$1 gets you:

- You Are Empty
- Trine

Pay more than $5.99 to also get:

- Cities In Motion (Steam)
- Deponia (Steam)
- Magicka (Steam)
- Painkiller Black

+ Bonuses, so far its only showing Magicka Vietnam.
Got an email about this, Indiegala's advertising annoys me. Quote from their email:

"Pay what you want for 8 Great STEAM games including Magicka, Deponia, Trine, Magicka: Vietnam, Painkiller:Black Edition, Cities in motion!!!"

That's not true at all. It's pay above the average to get 8 games. Not that I'm saying it's a bad deal - it isn't, and I can't remember the time I didn't pay over the average for a bundle, but they shouldn't be advertising it like that.

Bundlestars 2nd bundle is coming!

Teaser from twitter

I really liked the first one. This could be great. Then again I'm one of the people that bought just about every Indiegala bundle and has purchased maybe 1 humble indie bundle.

Not sure why they've blurred the text, I assumed at first it was the names of games in the bundle, but at least the top line appears to just be "Awesome indie games" or something.

The last line is: "All redeemable on Steam". The human brain is amazing.

All that work that went into that Blur effect and you guys just HAD to destroy it! D:

:D

All 1C titles. Already got all 80+ of them on GamersGate for $20 last spring.

As someone who likes 1C titles, I'm really mad I missed out on that. If I didn't I wouldn't have bought 90% of the bundles I grabbed last year.

Didn't knew of that bundle, made me realize I'm missing Star Wolves 2, I only have 1 and 3, damned OCD.

One of the main reasons I bought the first bundle. That and Men of War: Vietnam.

I really like the albums that came with the last two Indie Royales(Rhythm'N'Bits and 8-Bit Weapon Collection). So good.

Are there going to be any bonuses added to the Indie Royale Replay Bundle? Only started with the X-Mas one so I can't remember if they throw extra stuff in or not.

The only bonuses are just the missing soundtracks it didn't launch with. It's never any new game or new music. At most, it'd be some DLC for the game.

We want to give REAL indie developers a chance to show their work. It seems the definition of indie game developer has... changed over the last few years. Today, we see guys with big offices, several published games (some even by Sony or Nintendo) and ten, twenty employees call themselves indies and we slowly shake our heads. See, we feel that while these guys are small devs, they are not exactly *indies* anymore.

These guys need to climb down out of their own asses.

Stellar Impact is pretty cool, I dunno what the online community is like now but it was fun for the first few months it was on steam.

That, as far as I can see though it pretty much the only reason to buy that bundle.

Unstoppable Gorg:
Good tower defense game, a bit short and lacking in depth. Been in other bundles.
Stellar Impact:
Never tried it.
Twin Sector:
See previous post. Been in other bundles.
Dead Horde:
I like these kind of games but I haven't touched it. Been in other bundles.
Future Wars:
Have it, never touched it. Been in other bundles. I guess it's a tower defense? idk.
Greed: Black Border:
It's not bad, but it's mediocre. Been in other bundles.
Grotesque Tactics:
I really enjoy this. The humor is tongue in cheek and is over the top making fun of things that are obvious in video games. Been in other bundles.
Trapped Dead:
Have it, never touched it. Been in other bundles.

At least the site design is better than indiegala

I have a question about this last IndieRoyale bundle: the key for Defense Grid contains also all the DLC, isn't? Because it just give me the Desura Key, this Steam Key and the download for the basic game...

According to Twitter, Steam keys for The Journey Down: Chapter One should be on Desura.

I checked my Indie Royale Summer Bundle again and there was a Steam key for The Journey Down: Chapter One waiting to be redeemed. Go check if you bought it folks :)
