Either Fire/Ghost or Fire/Psychic will be great, but Ninetails' design could be taken towards either of those typings too. I just hope they most make it too busy to differentiate it from Ninetails.

I can totally see that ear hair -> flames thing happening. There isn't a single fire starter evolution that doesn't have a visible flame somewhere. It's like a trademark at this point.

Blaziken? The flames on it's wrists dont always stay out.

If you ask me, every pokemon soundtrack has fantastic highlights. Diamond/Pearl's is its Bike theme. I used it as my alarm clock tone for about 2 years. I still whistle it in the shower on a regular basis. That song totally infected me. I was infected by Bike.

Closest thing they have is Mightyena. (Who can easily solo the Elite 4 in B&W)

If it's "energy", it's already covered by a bunch of other types, Fighting included even.

If there a new type, Bug could really do with being super effective on it. It's borderline redundant.

I've always thought light was psychic anyway? Light doesnt have to beat dark, it can be it's weakness, and then fighting can beat back the darkness for their trio.

It's why she, and the legendary have that "light" look.

Hell espeon and umbreon, day = psychic night = dark
