That's supposed to be a huge crowd? I'm pretty sure there are more people participating at the Gay pride every year. I don't know where they counted 800 000 participant, I would be amazed if there were 80 000 of them.
This is perfect.
Really.
Relativism is a bad companion, evilish I dare to say.
Or there is one and absolute truth you recognize and respect and follow in an absolute way always, or there is nothing that can stand against all the derivations that come from that way of thinking, everything can be allowed, nothing forbidden.
In Italy we have something that sound like that" Who sow wind will harvest storm"
Not sure if I should make a new thread but in HK, christians were rallying against a proposed legislation that would outlaw discrimination against sexual minorities.
I don't even:

I thought French citizens were more progressive than this? Or is this just a minority but very vocal group? They did elect a socialist after all and seem to still hold the values of the French Revolution.
i was in paris over the new year and saw a bunch of anti-gay marriage posters around. surprising for what i thought was such a secular country — pretty much the only people that give a (negative) shit in the UK are priests and bishops.
And yet not a single explanation of how gay people can possibly destroy traditional marriage.
At all.
Conservative right-wing minority to put it more accurately. I consider myself liberal and right-wing overall, even though I blank voted for both rounds in May, yet I really don't get what the big deal is here. Guys say the reform will make French morals go further to shit, but really, I think they have already hit such realms of non-return long ago. I sense no collective consciousness in France whatsoever, we are at the point of free-for-all. Traveling to other countries confirmed my vision.Vocal minority, we voted for the guy who explicitely said he'd make same sex marriage legal.
France is pretty whiggidy whack.
I like the 'I'm not against gays, I'm for marriage' crap though.
Organizers insist they are not against gays and lesbians, but for traditional marriage. "We are marriagophile, not homophobe," said Barjot, author of a book entitled "Confessions of a Trendy Catholic."

Disguising. Being against adoption is especially cruel I'd say. "Better leave the children alone in an orphanage than having two loving dads/moms".
