kate bosworth was attrocious

Every decision Bryan Singer made on that movie was bad

The casting of Lois in SR was the worst decision of the movie.

The problem is that Kate Bosworth didn't look a day over 23 years old in the film, and I am being generous.

And you expect me to believe that this early 20-something woman has already won a Pulitzer Prize, has a 5 year old son, and a decade long relationship with Superman? Nah I didn't buy it. Lois needed to look and act in her early 30s. It's not personal against Kate because I like her, but she was not right for the Lois role.

Gina Carano can beat me up anytime. :)

went to see life of Pi in 3D last night
this trailer came on in 3D.
Guys it was jaw dropping. Visuals looksed so crips. In particular that shot of the hooded figure standing infront of some armageddon type shot.
Really hyped!

The suit looks really great on that maquette.

My only gripe with it remains the belt being disconnected from the buckle.

The cape/collar is okay. The boots are perfect. The shield is superhot.

That midsection is terrible though. Given that extra care was given to the collar and boots, why could they only manage half a belt? Come oooonnnnn

Because he doesn't have pants, why would he have a belt?

still better than the underpants over pants thing

the statue looks good but it doesn't look anything like Cavill...lol Cavill looks a lot more Superman-like

I wonder if she could kick cavill's ass in real life. Probably. Wish she would mine, actually.

I don't understand when people say this.

Have you ever been punched in the head? I don't know about you but it can fucking hurt regardless of who gives it to you. The dizziness, pain, throbbing and swelling is pretty awful.

That statue is mine :o

Now that 2013 is officially here, my hype meter for this this movie are reaching astronomical levels.

Gina Carano as Wonder Woman? Sign me up, she'd be a perfect for that role!

Im pretty sure in this context "kick my ass" = bounce up and down on my penis with great vigor.

huge ass close up of face

hmmm face could actually use some work now that Ive seen a closer view. I might cave, but the more I think about it I'll most likely buy the even more expensive Sideshow Collectibles Man of Steel figure instead. I know that will be amazing after what they did with the Reeve figure.

I fucking love the redesigned suit. Man I never want to see the red undies again and I've always been a purist. Not even giving a shit about the lack of an S curl either anymore.

Russell Crowe on Man of Steel:

"It's very complicated, it's really complex," he said. "I don't think anybody has really tried to get into the psychology of what it must be like to be Superman and what people would really respond like in a modern society if somebody like that just popped up. I think Zack Snyder was given a great deal of responsibilty because when it comes to comic book heroes and superhero films the top of the food chain is Superman. I think the biggest indicator for me of how it's looking is that the financier of the film has sent me gushing emails, he just loves it.

"I'm really looking foward to seeing it, it's a massive undertaking," Crowe continued. "It takes you on the ground
to Krypton, it takes you to a planet where the sun is four times larger than ours and you get to experience that stuff and if you've seen the trailers you realize that this Superman is not just floating through the air held up by a wire, this Superman is supersonic. I'm really looking forward to the way that people will respond to it."
