I listened to the entire GoT collection on audiobook (<3 Roy Dotrice) during my daily 3 hour drive. The 4th book was so boring it almost cost me my life.

Funny, I haven't read any of the books, I only like the series because of the show. My friend has suggested I read the books as there are things that happen there that are not in the show.

It didn't help that by book 5 Dotrice was no longer the spry young stallion he was when he narrated books 1-3. Still love him though.

I started reading the books because I couldn't wait till March to find out what happens. Best decision I ever made.

I can wait. Hell I waited all this time for season 2 to come out on blu ray since I don't pay for cable or the other stuff. I can only afford one luxury and that happens to be internet.

If book 4 almost killed you Dance With Dragons definitely will. I am really hoping book 6 is interesting because 4 and 5 were just DULL.

Speaking of Mass Effect, I'm thinking of buying the trilogy for PS3 >.< Mostly cause of the RPG aspect of it but I'm so terrible at shooters so that's holding me back a lil :'(
It really only resembles an rpg in ME1(best game in the trilogy imo). You don't have to shoot stuff though, go full biotic aka a robot mage.

And regarding Game of Thrones, the fourth book has a lot of filler but it ain't bad. It just couldn't possibly compare to book three. Still have to read ADWD.

This is almost exactly me with GOT. Haha. I loved the first, was pretty bored with the second, OMG the third, and I rather enjoyed the fourth. Haven't read the fifth yet.

Saw Les Mis again today. Didn't cry this time but still really enjoyed it. I think a few of the old dears must've gotten confused and forgotten we weren't at a live production because they clapped once the credits started.
