And regarding Game of Thrones, the fourth book has a lot of filler but it ain't bad. It just couldn't possibly compare to book three. Still have to read ADWD.

ADWD will probably just piss you off if you thought 4 had a lot of filler. Waited 7 years for it, had the back end of my vacation from work to read. Ended up feeling like Cooper from SLP.

It's freezing today. I need to fly away somewhere warm. :(

It seems snow is forecast for friday, so perhaps it isn't all so bad. I want there to be a shitload of it. I love walking in the snow at night. It tends to be so quiet and still. Something magical about it. And the snow reflects whatever light there is, so the night becomes unusually bright.

Saw Les Mis again today. Didn't cry this time but still really enjoyed it. I think a few of the old dears must've gotten confused and forgotten we weren't at a live production because they clapped once the credits started.

Ugghhh I loved Les Mis but it didn't make me cry at all. I think if I were to have gone there blind I woulda bawled but since I read the book back in high school everything was expected (I remember crying at the last few pages of the book :'( ). Still a great movie/musical nonetheless!

My only prior experience before seeing the movie for the first time last weekend was having seen the 25th anniversary concert, which gives you the music (obviously) and a rough idea of how the plot progresses, a little while back but seeing it fully acted out is something else entirely and had me a little misty in Fantine's final number and rolling a few tears down my cheek at the end.

Would love to see a live production some day but can't see that happening any time soon living in the middle of nowhere.

That's because this year it's a lot less widespread.

This is almost exactly me with GOT. Haha. I loved the first, was pretty bored with the second, OMG the third, and I rather enjoyed the fourth. Haven't read the fifth yet.

So many people seem so disappointed with the fourth, but it really still is very enjoyable even when things take a bit of a different direction. And it was annoying that there were now so many viewpoints that a few were ignored and covered in the fifth book.

I guess it mainly was because of the more shocking and prominent events in the previous books, but is it not the only appeal of the books.

I loved the second book though, but that might have been because of the feeling of anticipation.

Now after the fifth book, things still have not focused at all but I am eager to see how things turn out.

Yeah I get that. I sorta feel the same way about Phantom. I've seen it live a couple of times and watched the movie, still get teary every time <3

I'm not entirely sure I can fully trust people that don't like coffee.

It's the nectar of the Gods people, get with the program.

The only thing worse than not liking coffee, is serving very weak coffee. That's just a crime.

No idea, just followed friends.

Afghan food, as was said, specialises in delicious. My personal favourite being Mantu which is almost analogous to ravioli. Also Afghan spiced tea is why so many of them have faith in heaven.

We went to one on SDBD a while ago, and the name sounds familiar. If it is your friends, then they deserve to succeed, the food was great.

Sup dood.

I think I'm going to go for a new hair style next month. Something like T.O.P.

Just the hairstyle, not the color.

The haircolor is what makes a hairstyle like that acceptable though.

Just wearing your hair straight up is weird... Wearing it straight up in a funky color makes it awesome!

I would have to bleach my hair a lot for it to get that color as it is pretty dark.

Hmmmm... I don't know then. I just think the style is pretty cool (it is a bit longer on the sides in these pics)
