Seriously, PS Vita is fantastic for my commute in the morning. 30 minutes train ride is perfect for some "console" quality gaming. It makes the morning oh so much easier.

I had an over 6 hour train journey from University to home before Christmas and my Vita was great. Played a lot of MLB 12, PS All-Stars and a couple PSP titles.

Managed to last the whole journey with airplane mode on and brightness down, too.

i keep it in my inside coat pocket, no case, and whip it out while on the subway or waiting. its perfect for a quick few holes of HSG

Lol, just got LBP and he wrote it was used for 1 week. Now I see it's a pre-owned copy, so it have been used by someone else before him. And I have to buy an online pass. Crap.

I remember liking this game a lot when it came out for Dreamcast. I downloaded it on PS +, played it for 20 minutes, and promptly deleted it.

Yeah, once you get the weird controls down it feels pretty good. Dated by today's standards but still fun. Worth it anyway for the godly soundtrack.

It's a code with LBP, so if it accepted the code he should be good to go.

Heh, i'm just not botherd by "dated" controls it seems, didn't get the hate for how MGS 1 and 2 control either. The music though...
...I turned it off. Not my cup 'o tea at all.

Anyhow, finally completed the tuorial. It's harder than the main-game!

Well, I think you can play the new level in ranked matches or something, but have to pay for it if you want to play it in unranked matches or the other way around. I think somebody mentioned it in the new PS All-Stars thread. Anyway, I'm excited. This has been the only game this generation I have been willing to pay for DLC.

I'll try to remember to add you tonight. I'm mainly looking for someone who has a good connection to play sessions with. The vita community is almost and it's hard to get a game that isn't "broken" due to lag.

As far as the controls on vita go, I'm currently practicing Doom TAC combos. I have the side and down TACs almost down completely (in training mode) so it should give you a good example how anything is possible on the vita.

Superbot have always said the first set of DLC would be free for a limited time, I think. Not sure about any future DLC.

It took a bit to get them down because of all the canceling in the combos, learning the timings, but more importantly the positioning you want to the enemy character in to continue the combo. It's unlike most combos in that you are changing your timing almost every time you complete the combo because its so many hits.

I'm not great by any stretch of the imagination, especially online with the vita. Drop a lot of combos i wouldn't offline, but ya know.

I was using alternate controls to do vergil sword loops (map light to right trigger) but this seemed to throw off my other 2 characters more than loops helped.

My Vita doesn't make the infamous ps3 trophy sound when I get a trophy. I could have sworn it did when I first got it and/or that I've heard it make the sound on Vita Youtube videos. Am I remembering incorrectly, or did I turn off a setting somewhere?

Hmm, I can only hear the trophy sound sometimes. Maybe it's just not loud enough and it's being drowned out by game noise, or you're accidentally obscuring the speakers?

I got all excited and figured it must have been turned off, ready to ask how it got turned off in the first place...

...but nope "show on screen" "light up PS button" and "play sound" are all checkmarked.

I guess it's just bad hearing/sounds drowning out or something.
