I had enormous amounts of trouble with the Ubi Servers. I kept getting DC'd or locked up during matches and it even got to the point where it would lock up and drop during Single Player. I finally finagled my way through it but it was a huge hassle and I played the rest of the game offline.
As far as trying to get the map you need, just keep connecting/disconnecting from a match until you're made the host and then set it up the way you want.
Personal gaming notes, finished what I likely will with Syndicate last night and might go back to get one more trophy (25 shield drops). But the rest are a ridiculous grind or online. Onto Spec Ops before Ni No Kuni next week.

Oh I didn't buy the physical copy. I bought the Games On Demand version on the XBL marketplace.
It was on sale for $10 during the "countdown to 2013" sale.
Ugh this Flyswatter achievement in Modern Warfare 3 is so dumb. I'm thinking of quitting and being stuck at 1595/1610. After all the missions I've done on Veteran it seems dumb that this silly achievement, out of all the difficult stuff you have to do in MW3, would be the one to prevent a completion.
FYI Flyswatter asks you to do the following: In the spec ops mission Vertigo (DLC content, Collection 3) destroy all the helicopters.
So I can do this on Regular, and it's still giving me fits!

Finished all the story and collection trophies in Gravity Rush today. Only ones left are the challenges and the collect 40k of gems. Any tips on the challenges? What are the best abilities to upgrade to make them easier? During the story I only spent gems to get the gravity kick and typhoon ability to max but still have close to 7k left to upgrade other abilities.

Damn Spec ops is fricking amazing.
Only on chapter 7 but its great fun.
Some bits feel like they are gonna be a massive pain in the ass on fubar but according to the achievement guide its not as hard as world at war on veteran and i found that pretty damn easy so should be ok.

Nice to see more Spec Ops love. I found Fubar really damn hard. The early chapters will be brutal but they will mold you into a Fubar expert.

I just got the platinum for God of War III. That was an experience. I really enjoyed the game besides the frustrations on some parts.
I didn't find it too difficult overall. There are some achievements that will give you a little frustration and some that are time consuming, but not too bad of a 1000/1000.

Was awesome to relive the movie in Lego form. It's a Lego based game, the jokes were still good. Did get a little long in the end just like the movies, felt like the Extended Edition, heh

I enjoyed the PS3 version, so double dipping was a no-brainer. Loved every part of it. Also liked the Arena mode they offered in the Vita, that was awesome
Wish PS3 had that, could've been an awesome co-op experience
So Mid-January, I've roughly gotten 7 Platinums for the New Year so far

That is like the last straw for me in Trophy Whoring, if I ever fall so low, I quit!
Any chance anyone can help me with the last two Need for Speed: Most Wanted trophies on PS3, it's been quite troublesome to find someone to get these last couple with.

I usually would just delete due to tem being basic and other sites who did a better job
So today when I finished Lego Batman, I clicked just to see, damn it's changed and looks nice

i got the 1000g last night but i started on hard black then did normal
Only bit im not looking forward too is the shitload of mutants / berserkers fight in 4,2 but hopefully ill be hardened by then.

I already felt a dirty platinum whore with Trine 2, no way I'd buy those Hanna Montana games and such...

I think it hasn't updated my full Vita list, not quite sure
Most of Vita games still have the "Coming Soon" thing to it, maybe that's why there's a disparity

I've got to say that trying to platinum Alpha Protocol is a real pain in the ass. It's not hard, it's just that with the conversations and how you answer, if you didn't do it correct, you are fucked. For instance, I'm trying to get the Youth Triumphs Experience trophy and even going through and reading the details on how to get it, I did everything, but still nothing. Then looking through the message boards, it turns out that at the very beginning of the game, you have to answer the first two conversations with "Suave" responses in order to trigger the next battle, on top of all the other requirements you need to do. So here we go again.

Just finished Sonic Transformed 100%. Now I'm going back to Vanquish to finish the 100% of that game. Kinda forgot how to play, but going to go through the tutorial again. Are the Tactical Challenges really hard in this game if any of you played it?

Can you please tell me if this is the type of game where getting the 100% achievement/trophy will be near impossible if I don't use a checklist from beginning to end? Or will I be good just playing normally and then mopping up for 100% after I beat the game?
Anyone have Battlefield 3 in their backlog taunting them to get platinum? I only need to finish the Co-op missions on hard and do two of the Co-op specific ones and I'm pretty much finished. I finished all the MP ones at launch and during the double XP weekends. Biggest one I dread is finishing the horrible SP mode on hard.
Anyways anyone wanna do the Co-op ones with me? I've tried them on hard with randoms and other than the first mission it never ends well. lol
