Thank Fuck it's over and I got my Platinum. Holy hell, why would you add such a stupid fucking requirement into this game. A huge FUCK YOU to Jenkins!. You ruined all the good things about BL2, I would've voted it #1 in GAF GOTY, but after the stupid fucking grind, FUCK NO!.
Roughly 100+ runs popping armory crates @ Thousand Cuts (Took like 2 weeks of 2+ hours running the same route... it was Plants vs Zombies "Lucky" luck all ver again for me)
Luckily a blessed soul (StealMyFaceGDF) from the BL2 forums had a save @ Doctor's Order (thank you based god)
He popped on our first try, but with my luck, Steal got the kill by shooting too many rockets trying to lower his level 51 ass
Then 5 reboots and run backs later, I finally got him to pop again and killed his robotic ass.
No Trophy =/
Luckily I was 21 Hurly Burly from hitting Badass Rank 5 on that Challenge, 3 minutes later, Gold Trophy + Platinum Pops!
Hallelujah!

BL2 is way miles ahead of 1, it's just the Challenges are a fucking Grind
Most will come, a few you have to work on early or grind at the end
Decent chunk of your time will be invested in it, not a quick Platinum per-say
Most of all December was dedicated to that game alone
If you miss out on Doctor's Order trick and not pop Jenkins during it, either in Playthrough 1 or 2, or hell even 2.5, you will be in for a long haul trying to get him to pop
Then you need to rely on the kindness of others to help you get him
Trophy Guide look-over and run-through is necessary, if you go in blind, you can fuck yourself out of the Platinum or make it very hard to get it
Gonna see how the DLC is
Luckily I got it for free, so I at least saved $10

no matter what you do, it doesn't fucking matter. Save character x and s/he dies an episode later. It takes a lot of the enjoyment out of it.

How is ghost of sparta easy? The last boss is kicking my ass. I need some strategies how to beat him on hard/what weapons to use on him? If I beat him three gold trophies will pop at once. But he always gets me to a point where I just give up and don't care about playing anymore.
I have all the DLC too if you want a partner. I got it for free too. lol I thought the season pass was more than $10?
I got BLOPS II season pass for free too, and I don't even have that game yet. I can't believe their charging as much for that as they are for the actual game. lol

Learn his pattern, once you know it's phases and how to overcome those, you'll triumph
Look @ Guide for tips and tricks, I just took my time, no hurry and used everything to my advantage
Trial and Error is a key-point, you pick-up what and what not to do

I have uDraw Instant Artist (2 trophies remain, should have by tonight or tomorrow for Plat #129), Tekken Tag Tournament 2 to work through (I might get close to plat on this, that super combo trophy might fuck me over >_<)

Did you level up the Blades of Chaos (or whatever they're called here) to max? That's really the only weapon you need to use for the whole fight, other than abusing magic's invulnerability periods to dodge attacks that you aren't sure of.
I had to watch a video cause I didn't remember jack about the battle, but all I can really say is to spend a match blocking and dodging his attacks just to learn his moves and how to avoid them. Keep in mind that he probably has moves that you can just use a regular guard to block, which is something that elluded me in other games where I just tried to dodge everything. Also, abuse Deimos' attacks as much as possible.

Solid list for Crysis 3, seems doable. Not a big fan of the MP-achievements but they seem doable as well.
Now let's hope the framerate holds up on PS3. Crysis 1 ran pretty decent, 2 as well.
Also, this seems appropriate to post here. Pretty interested to see how it will turn out.

Bah, change of plans. I was going to take a break from trophies and work on my Steam backlog(about 60 games), but my PC didn't want to live anymore. So I took another look at my PS3 games and realized that I have about 15 games I'm missing the plat for. I'll work on Mass Effect first, then AC3(once my stupid friend gives it back to me) and Vanquish. I can't let Steve have all the glory!

Anyone play LEGO Batman or Lord of the Rings on Vita? They just got price cuts at gamestop/eb games with Batman going for $19.99 and LOTR at $29.99. The reviews are not that great for either but I need a new Vita game for my lunch breaks at work and Gravity Rush is not cutting it.
How much is it? Is it on the store?
And daevv, is that NA gamestops? I've been looking at a good price for Lego Batman 2 for a long time. Thanks.

I enjoyed LEGO Batman 2 quite a bit. It works great for pick up and play, although it suffers from the same problems as every other LEGO game. Once you have finished up the main game, it also has a really boring Justice League mode.
He was talking about the Vita version, which is $19.99 at GameStop.

I didn't think it was that hard, but it's definitely very challenging if you haven't mastered all the things you can do.
Only the Tactical Challenges are hard. Challenge 4 and 6 definitely test your best.

Platinum #84: Back to the Future: The Game. A bit of a cheap Platinum, but it brought me up to Level 25, 96%. Too bad there haven't been much more disc releases for Telltale games. I prefer discs. Anyway, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Vita should follow this week and I'll have a go at EyePet & Friends next weekend now that I have a second Motion Controller to actually finish it.

Only reason i played more then 4x is because the trophies dont stack,
its easy as hell though. i only needed the one extra continue on hard. i expect some ppl would need a load more though,
You basically get an extra continue for every hour you play in each mode.
Platinum #85: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Vita. Took me 13h and became a bit boring toward the end, but otherwise a fun little game. You don't really notice it is a 3DS game in origin either. Brought me up to level 26, 3%. Getting closer to the Belgian top 50.

Just wondering TrophyGAF, did anyone here have trouble with getting the FarCry 3 Co-op trophies? I'm sure I've finished the second level twice, with it freezing the third time. On top of that, being unable to select which map you want to play in public is infuriating.
I did it in offline co-op. If you can do it in offline I would recommend doing it.

I played through Vanquish somewhat recently. Living legend is pretty easy to get once you know about the exploit. When you die all you have to do is select "Main Menu" instead of "Restart" when you die. That way the death won't register. I think you'll also have to finish the game without using level select at all too. Play on casual auto difficulty if you want. Not 100% sure about all that though so I'd double check with xbox360achievements.org before attempting. Would suck to finish the game and not have it unlock at the end. Flyswatter took me a couple tries but it wasn't too hard. You can look that one up on youtube if you need help. I never even tried tactical challenger since I've heard that one can be a pain to get.

Yep the exploit for Living Legend works.
I broke a Sixaxis while going for the Tactical Challenger trophy, just so you know.
