No she's a zombie.

Uh-oh, things tend to happen when I'm around zombies...

Final update (if you can call it that): I never got a call about going to that furry con today, basically confirming that I'm not going. I actually was oddly looking forward to it thanks to you guys. :lol

I'll have to talk to him later about meeting up with what's-her-name since he knows her better than I do.

What potential did the first one have that the second one didn't follow, exactly?

Dead Space 2 was superior to Dead Space in almost every way. Hardcore mode Dead Space 2 is fucking incredible.

I changed my mind on Dead Space 3 after playing Dead Space 2 but after knowing there's no split-screen co-op I don't even know.

Fuck this generation's hatred of couch gaming. Split screen should be mandatory, and four player split screen much more widespread.

I know you've not been asking me, but I'll drop my opinion anyway.

I do not remember all that much about the game. But the horror was way worse than the original since the game was either in "scary" mode or in "action" mode. F.E.A.R. also did this and made that fail as a horror game imo. My reasoning behind that is simply because in scary mode you are not in any danger. The game showed some scary images, but aside of a few jump scares you were never in any danger during the horror modes.

The first one was also not that good in the horror department, so I can forgive that. However, action-wise the game also disappointed me. The thing was that the enemies were so damn much more annoying. The game took an approach similar to Resident Evil 5, where it unleashes more enemies while having the controls not suited for it. It was not as bad as in Resident Evil 5, but it still felt wrong.

Besides that, many weapons seemed not very applicable. The plasma cutter became a lot less powerful than in Dead Space 1 (which I can understand), but the problem was that buying new weapons was pretty expansive, and you are unable to try them out. So every time you buy a new weapon (and you do not really know in advanced whether it will be useful) you take a big gamble and the game can punish you for trying different option.

The telekinesis also was quite useless against the large amount of enemies.

Oh, and I disliked how you spend the first part listening to the woman that so surprisingly betrays you.

There was probably more I disliked about the game, but it has been a long time for me. Oh yeah, the second antagonist was boring as fuck too.

Anyhow, that was my take.

Sorry for the late reply. Just my opinion but the first reminded me a lot of playing resident evil for the first time, had that survival horror cramped atmosphere up until you became over powered. I appreciated the improved controls and combat in the second game but didn't feel like it was quite as good in the atmosphere. It's been quite some time since I've played either though so I probably should replay them to see If it changes anything. I did find the raptor type necromorphs pretty scary in 2, that still stands out :)

Finished Tomb Raider Anniversary, first TR game ever for me [besides Guardian of Light]. It's really friggin' good. Now the reboot looks even worse to me now lol :( I could play Legend or Underworld, but I don't hear great things about either. I still need to mess around in Croft Manor, I'm stuck with a few items and have no idea where to go next hmm

Woohoo! I loved TRA. Like I raved in the gaming side LTTP thread, St. Francis Folly (especially the Damocles room) from TR1 is my favorite level of the whole series. Underworld wasn't bad, but I didn't care at all for the underwater intro zone.

Not really hyped about the next installment either, especially after seeing the newest achievements list :\

Anyone else make any unhealthy decisions today?

The weather was nice and I wanted to go for a walk. The walk ended up taking me to the corner store, whereupon I bought a packet of some kind of chocolate coated biscuit from Europe, a packet of wafers and two cuts of rump-steak. I've eaten several of the chocolate coated biscuits and am now fighting the urge to have more.

All of the Cinnabon's in Baltimore have vanished. They're gone. Like, all of them. I think there's one at one of the terminals at BWI airport, but that's it.

Oddly enough, Burger King is now the new partner for the brand in the area, which is just gross and not the same as when they're baked on site.

So today was the first time I saw and smelled weed first hand. That was something.
My first time was in sophomore year college getting a ride with a classmate and her boyfriend. Kept on wondering what the weird smell in the car was the whole time.

It wasn't until we got to the place and he stepped out to spark something that it all made sense.

They disappeared from Annapolis, too. Closest ones seem to be the Arundel Mill's and Columbia Malls.

Not particularly heartbreaking. Never really cared for them. T.J. Cinnamon's was way better.

Good thing it's late and they're closed. Grabbing a Greek yogurt... *sniff*

Greek yogurt is good too!

I have some chicken, artichoke heart, and feta pizza to heat up.

FUCK YEAH HOCKEY IS BACK! My team doesn't play until tomorrow but it was a glorious day of icescapades anyway.

Sorry Leeness.

Have you never been to a concert before?

Nope.

Ha, the place where I was at people were smoking it rolled up and out of a bong. First time seeing a bong in person too. It was a really weird looking one compared to the pictures I've seen posted on the internet actually. Colorful too.

Speaking of that my sister smoked in our room a few days ago and the smell is still here >__> Terrible.

I still reek of it/cigarette/hookah smell since that's what people were smoking where I went. Hookah isn't that bad since the smell can be pretty good at times, but the others are terrible.

Best smell.

Nope.

I remember back in middle school, my bus smelled like weed more often than not. That was my first experience with it.

I think that I probably smelled it before, but didn't know that it was weed. This was the first time where I saw everything like the weed, bong, people smoking and etc.

AWWWW MAN that pizza sounds perfect. I know what I'm making tomorrow.

Oh god hookah is great, I haven't gone in so long ;A;

A friend of mine always smokes it wrong and ends up really lightheaded, so it's always her holding us back =_=

Sorry Leeness.

Lol yeah...that was definitely...a thing.

Well, the Canucks usually have a couple embarrassing chokes a season since I started watching so...we're just getting one out of the way :D

Also, haha the drug talk. I ain't never been drunk, never done drugs, I don't do anything.

I dunno. Haha. I'm against people doing drugs other than weed. But weed and drinking... Go nuts. Lol
I just don't like it for me. Makes me super uncomfortable.
