I've actually never been drunk. Though I'd like to pretend it's because I am above all that, it's just because it's gross :/

I've tried many maaany alcoholic beverages but don't like anything. My friends say it tastes horrible at first but you get used to it which sounds daft to me. I mean, why force yourself to drink something you don't find tasty?
Oye drinking doesn't make you fun or unfun. I dunno, I've seen plenty of my friends act like right twats when drunk, I get embarrassed for them. XD
Count me in the buzz crowd. Dont think I ever want to get completely dead drunk. Never tried smoking anything.

Same thing for me, I have not had any alcoholic drinks that I found particularly tasty. Or would prefer over what I normally drink. Have tried some stuff, been buzzed, and I don't mind trying stuff, but that is a rare occasion.

I find nearly every alcoholic beverage tasty but that's because my standards are low. Why? Soju.
Soju is the worst thing to grace this dark, ugly earth. It tastes like alcohol with some distilled water mixed in. Ugh. It's also everywhere since it costs the same as bottled water. HATE IT

Rum is great (especially dark rum) and it used to be my liquor of choice, but in recent years I've grown very very fond of gin. I'm also pretty big into tequila so long as it's good quality. I also collect a lot of various liqueurs. I spend almost as much money on good wine and liquor as I do on food, which is to say; a lot.
I've always liked the taste of most alcohols, though. I've been trying everything I could since I was about 6 or 7.
Stop being right all the time kitsune. Recommend Zaya rum if you've never tried it; you can sip it like a cocktail. Gin is my clear liquor of choice though. Tanqueray 10 being what I'd buy if I have the funds to pick out any bottle on the shelf (though Sapphire is always easier to spot). I'm interested in the liqueurs you've been collecting recently. Have you ever tried advocaat?
I'm curious regarding the "tastes bad" non-drinkers, have you ever tried any of the lower-alcohol content liqueurs like Bailey's, Kahlua, or Amaretto?

I have the biggest bottle of Bombay Sapphire known to man, that I use for mixing. Hendricks is my gin of choice for sipping and certain cocktails, the cucumber and rose flavors are really pleasant. Plymouth is also pretty good, but I'm out of that currently.
On the recommendation of another gaffer I asked a local liquor store to order in a bottle of Blackwood's gin, since Maryland won't let me order to my house. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm eager to try it. There's also another botanical gin I've been itching to try called Uncle Val's.
As for liqueurs, I'm a sucker for nut and fruit flavors as well as herbal liqueurs. I've just recently bought a big bottle of Green Chartreuse that I've been slowly enjoying. It's a bit too sweet to drink a lot at a time, though. Never heard of Advocaat but I'll see if I can find it. I've always been a fan of brandy and cognac based liqueurs.
I haven't had Hendrick's in years. I'm literally writing myself a note to buy a bottle today before the store in walking distance closes. I've never had Blackwood's... wonder if they ever stock it.
Chartreuse sweets the heck out of my tastebuds, I can't really tolerate it, though I probably would find it easy to enjoy as a third or fourth drink.
I'll ditto that on cognac and brandy-based liqueurs. Advocaat like egg nog itself sees a lot of variance in quality from different brands but if you ever get the chance to taste Verpoorten's bottled offering or best of all an in-house concoction in a restaurant (i.e. in Belgium or Holland), it basically forces you to become relaxed upon drinking due to deliciousness.

I can taste the extremely bitter/sour flavor of the alcohol in those, yeah.
The only thing I've found that I could push pash the taste enough to enjoy is the Sunset Passion Colada at Red Lobster. Like because of the vast amounts of strawberry jam.

Haha this is true...uh oh.
Not unusual, but it's been a few days and it's kind of hilarious that as the sun goes down, the fog descends, swallows the sun and blankets the whole area haha.

That happened here last winter. It was so thick you couldn't even see the street lights.
Yeah, street lights are just these muted blobs in the fog haha.

Hey guys, I have band that's close to my family...I kinda want them to be famous. They are independent, from Sweden, and constantly come to New Mexico, USA to hang out with my sister for some reason.
I think they are kinda amazing.
How would I go about helping pimp them out? Does it deserve it's own thread? Do you guys think they suck?

I just got home a while ago myself and found our the Niners are going to the Super Bowl, my Pops will be happy about that. He was never a big fan of the Cowboys (mainly because he had to deal with a lot of the 70s 'Boys back when he was a bouncer), so he always rooted for the Niners or the Redskins. Needless to say he'll be enjoying the big game.
That's right, Hockey finally started back up! Now I can finally go to the A.A. Center to watch a 'effing Stars game.
Jagr was beasting for the Stars last night.

I think more than 20 over is reckless driving in a lot of states. I would definitely contest it. I don't know where you live but there's a good chance you could be granted probation before judgement, and if you're really lucky your cop might not even show up and the case will be dismissed.
