Law states a President must be sworn in by Jan 20; but since it's a Sunday, they want to have a public one on the 21 which is a Monday. Legally he was sworn in and is now officially on his second term... the swearing in tomorrow is merely symbolic.

The one Obama used today is an old Michelle Obama family Bible that her father gave to his wife back in 1958.

The one used during the symbolic inauguration tomorrow will be one used by Martin Luther King Jr., and stacked on top of Abraham Lincoln's Bible used during his first inauguration and Obama's first.

The Bible used in Biden's ceremony is simply a Bible that has been in the Biden Family for quite some time.
