loooool wtf at this meme
Hair is defying all that is natural in this world.

I agree.

I've always enjoyed Parks and Rec more. Community had higher highs but Parks has the better cast overall. Plus, Harris Whittels writes for Parks, he so foam.

Parks and Rec is slowly becoming one of the classics. It's one of the few shows that has an amazing cast. Everyone there is just fucking great. Love that show.

Parks is really good when it's good but awful when its bad. Last episode was really bad. Community never falls below "average". It also never reaches the plateaus that Parks does but it never completely falls flat either.

Community definitely falls flat sometimes. Ann is the only cast member on Parks that falls flat and she is painfully not funny when she does.

Old people on meds shouldn't be allowed to drive :/

Just about got hit at a crosswalk (I had the walk sign) by an old lady turning left, she didn't even seem to see me and literally had a :D face as she turned. If I didn't move back she probably would have hit me.

That sounds like some extreme happy pills.

Not a single writer from Season 1 of Community is left, and only two from Season 2 are left. I'm pretty sure a bunch of writers left during the hiatus before Season 3, but I can't find a source. I didn't love Season 3 of Community, but it was never a pain to watch.

Parks and Recreation is like The Office, except The Office started good and got bad, Parks and Recreation started bad and it's staying bad.

Vancouver? Probably on the ganja.

Sorry but I literally laughed at the mental image of that.

This showed SO much. In Season 1, the characters are all quirky archetypes with a bit of sensibility thrown in. Britta in particular is almost a straight man to Jeff in Season 1. She's like the voice of reason while all the other characters are afflicted by greed or ambition or dumbness. By Season 3 she's like one of the most ridiculously irrational characters in TV history.

Season 3 wound up more of a series of entertaining, funny vignettes built around themes than actual situational comedy with funny plot arcs. I liked a lot of the individual episodes a lot even if the entirety of the season wasn't up to the standards of the first two.

edit: Elisha Cuthbert is outstanding too.

So here's a pro-tip:

If you're in charge of writing requirements make sure you number all the functional requirements with a prefix of "FN"

That way when you're doing the requirements review you can hear the client say, "Ok, let's talk about requirement f'n 8."

and giggle inside.

I will make a lot of enemies with this, but while ScarJo is attractive, I hardly think she's as hot as everyone says she is.

In other news, I was putting away things from the many many many boxes I've accumulated during my move into the new house and came across an old photo of my wife and I when I still had hair and thought I'd share. This was from a cruise we went on in 2005.

FML. Barely 10 minutes into a business meeting today at a Thai restaurant I spilled an entire bowl of green curry all over myself. The lower half of my shirt and both pant legs are now green and smell delicious.
