Having to touch shit on the screen all the time (not just the edges, but all over) while using both sticks killed the game for me in the first mins.

All the other stuff you listed was true, but that one thing killed it for me.

I actually prefer they update it once a week. So I have something to look forward to every Monday.

If they do it monthly and announce some shit in the beginning of month, I will have to wait a month to see what's next.

Announce all the content for the month then release one thing every week then. That way you have a new thing to look forward to every week, and they don't trickle it out.

Perhaps I'm just getting old and my memory is fuzzy, but I recall the opposite reaction back when they did a month at a time. People would read the monthly update, and then complain about how awful it would be to suffer through a whole month knowing how crappy it was.

So they switched to weekly. And now people complain about how awful a week is without (see Killthee's post above) how on a monthly basis things aren't as inequal (in January 2012, as an example) as it might seem.

A crap month is still a crap month if they reveal it all together or week by week. But yeah i see what you mean. Personally i much prefer the EU way

Awesome, just got a Vita last week and my PS+ membership is taking good care of me. NGS+ sounds fantastic, almost bought that actually. My sub is good for a fairly long time, and I can always pick up the games I liked for cheap if I don't renew.

that is true but there aren't any months I would truly call crap for NA, some weaker months sure but no real crap and that is just looking at the free games since the instant game collection was made. Stand alone not looking at EU most of them look fine.

to be fair Free on ps+ doesn't mean the developer gets no money. Sony works out some sort of contract with them giving them so much money to have it on plus. We don't know if they get a lump sum before hand or an amount determined by the number of people who download it though (as far as I know at least)

The dev obviously still gets paid by Sony when they are on PS+, otherwise no one would agree to making it free on plus.

Unfortunately, I think the Plus teams were expecting it to be better than it was. It was on EU Plus as soon as it released, so they probably didn't know what a turd it is.

Looking forward to sleepy dogs and Wipeout and Lumines. Anyone know how big the Vita games are? I had to delete Gravity rush (finished it) and Chronovolt (lol) from my Vita to make some room for PS all stars Vita version from the £17.99 sale on the game (which I guess In don't really need as I don't really take my vita out).

only game known to be leaving soon (aka tomorrow) is chronvault or what ever it is called. beyond that we aren't sure what is leaving when. we will know a few more details when the store update goes live tomorrow as we will know what will leave in the first week of feb.

to be fair lbp2, infamous 2, uncharted golden, and gravity rush for sure aren't going anywhere for a long time.

Correct. You have to complete the purchase until you come to the screen where you can download them, basically.

Yes, if you check them out on the cart they go on your download list and you can download/play them for as long as you are a subscriber. You don't have to download the full games during the month while the game is on +.

Yep, but on an EU account. Your games from both regions should be playable with any account on your PS3.
