It having a no-permadeath mode is a big reason for me deciding to try this one out. Int. Systems has been on a roll for a while now. Between Sticker Star and Pushmo/Crashmo, they've become one of my favorite devs in a fairly short time frame. I'm hoping Awakening will be yet another hit, and a good intro to the franchise for me.

I think I'm halfway done the game and I have no faults with it whatsoever. Fuck the police, fuck the hyperbole, this is one of the greatest games everrrr.

For sure. It's quite easy and features some things like overworld which may be closer to some other RPG's. Also it lets you train your characters in between of the missions.

SPM's biggest issue was that the gameplay was a bit shallow and very repetitive. If you came in for the humor the series is known for, it delivered.

Sticker Star is my personal GOTY across all systems. Honestly, the hate comes from the fact that it's not like 64 and TTYD.

I've always really enjoyed Sacred Stones. It's a bit of an anomaly in the series, sharing some similarities with Fire Emblem Gaiden on the NES, but definitely an excellent entry. If you already own it, I would say why not? Pretty much all Fire Emblem games are great! (aside from the DS entry)

That quote of me is about Mario Kart: Super Circuit, though I find all Paper Mario games awesome. Sticker Star is glorious, I honestly, honestly fail to see how it's not an amazing game and definitely the best 3DS game so far.

This game is well worth the praise and the localization effort is top notch. Sacred Stones came out in 2005 in NA and it's been too long since an actual decent portable FE. This game will consume all my time until MonHan.

So many people hate it. They found it boring, or they couldn't get over their OCD with using consumables for attacks. I love the game, maybe my favourite 3DS title, but it's far from popular.
