That'd be a good way to paint an invisible bullseye on the Smash and Skullgirls scenes that can only be detected by EVO staff. There can only be one unless they make an exception.

Yeah, even if they tried to end it at a tie, I'm sure there would be troll donations at the last second.

Being at EVO won't stop those lacking brain cells from calling it a non-fighter.

It's best just to think of EVO as a grand stage to have fun with Smash and witness the best players it has to offer.

It's not a lack of brain cells. It's just ignorance. People who make those claims generally haven't even played Smash at a competitive level. Part of it probably also has to do with the series being attached with Nintendo. People automatically assume it's a party game for kids because it's a Nintendo game. Even though many of Nintendo's games this gen. are probably better than 90% of the HD cinematic movies we've had on the other consoles.

Yeah it jumped from 9k to 20k. Frankly, if they are going to drop that much they should have went all out and match melee so it could be a 3 way fight to the death between melee, skull girls and ST.
