SIGH.

I usually do a first to quote, guess I'll always be doing that if people can't even take 2 seconds to say thank you. Pathetic =/

Think Dead Space 3 will appear on steam?
No i think, would be happy if Amazon did an offer on 1 and 2. Games are highly replayable. Wanted to play one again.

I know is a bit harder but a sort of random lottery give more people a chance to get the present. And add a thanks from me for been generous ShaneB. No i didnt take the code XD

Chivalry mega-patch is out now. 13 new maps, 2 new modes (duel/ctf), 5 new weapons and a bunch of other stuff. Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8TroWyTB7s

Keys from GMG are generally considered safe as they deal directly with publishers.

From my understanding the issue was that it wasn't clear where the users selling the keys were getting the keys from or if they were abusing regional differences for their own profit (which I think would fall under the key reselling sites/regional exploit ban).

Things like splitting 2/4-packs (or selling extra copies left from those) from sites like GMG/GG/Amazon has been a common occurence in Steam threads without anyone raising issues though.

That was my interpretation of the situation anyway, dk_ was going in the way of caution with his warning which is always a sensitive position to take, best thing to do would be to ask a mod about it if there's any doubts.

Here's the posts in question.

Thank you very much for the clarification, I will contact a mod about the Omerta GMG key then.

I take it Chivalry doesn't look likely to suffer the normal decreasing playerbase fate of random multiplayer-only games like Lead and Gold, or Neotokyo (thanks kami_sama)?

At least for now, it has a lot of players.

And the second game you talked about is Neotokyo.

The dev does not want to tell the price before release. However, I guess he will try the same price as QUBE (14€/$15/£12), or a bit more expensive since QUBE was a 4-hour long experience and Antichamber takes 8 hours to be beaten. At most, the pricepoint could be $30, at best $15. I would guess $20 is what is to be expected.

There is a dedicated thread.

I was right. And the price is the best we could expect on the release day, thanks to the 25% discount.

I am playing now. It is interesting to see how different it is from the mid-2010 build.

It's a pity that lecture doesn't seem to have been recorded. Well, that or it hasn't been uploaded yet.

I went ahead and purchased the Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed 4-pack now. I have 1 copy left available for $20. Let me know if you want it!

Edit: Sold to the awesome Bertle!

Is the community wall messed up with anyone, like pictures not displaying, things glitchy for anyone else?

Also I dislike all of these Chivalry patches so far because each one changes the core gameplay and slows things down, it's a touchy area for me personally because of how you do your moves etc.

Stamina drains faster, so survivability is even less, and once a swing is initiated, the horizontal mouse sensitivity has been dramatically lessened, so you can't compensate for movement or some ass right behind you mid swing. Feint and sprint are also a tad slower.

Not a fan man, not a fan.

Chivalry has officially taken off at this point.

It always has a high amount of concurrent players online. The base will continue to increase through sales and free content updates.

After 1h25m in the game (5 minutes left before the countdown), I can confirm the beginning of the game is very close to the one of the demo.

I went to
the second gun (spoiler link)
but could not unlock it. I felt really bad watching it without being able to take it. It was not easy to get there, I don't remember the steps to do it again!

There is a kind of in-game achievements. As you can see,
it tells the story of your life
.

I'm looking for funds for Antichamber, so if anyone wants a Chivalry copy, I've got 3 left from a 4-pack I bought when it was on sale, it comes down to around $9.4 per game, shoot me a PM :)

I don't know whether it is a joke from the dev. I don't have problems but I have an Nvidia card. You might want to try the suggested fix.

Antichamber player complains he cannot get the game to work on AMD card. Alexander Bruce responds "install nVidia drivers".

those threads write themselves!

Man, had someone at home turn on my PC, it auto-logs into Steam and I remote download Sonic and Sega Racing Transformed from work.

It's features like that, that make me love Steam.

Honest slip or trolling taken to the next level? :lol

It's the PhysX drivers. Although PhysX only works on Nvidia cards some games (mostly UE3 games I think) will look for it anyway, and get upset when they can't find it. If you're having problems, it can't hurt to try it.

Dev said if you have an ATI card and having issues, try downloading the following driver.

Nvidia?

Yeah I found the fix and it did work. But thanks anyway!

They're Physx drivers made by nvidia so yes, they are technically nvidia drivers.

This has been one of my gripes with PhysX for quite a while. If you don't have the right version I think you can get really confusing problems and maybe have to install something by hand. If I recall correctly, installing certain (e.g. UE3) games after certain other games could even cause PhysX conflicts at one point.

There is Software PhysX and Hardware PhysX.

Software PhysX works on AMD, Intel, IGP, NVIDIA, and is used by loads of games, including some on consoles.

Hardware PhysX works only on NVIDIA GPUs and adds all kinds of fancy physics-led effects to enhanced games, like Borderlands 2.

In this case, the PhysX software driver on people's PCs is older than the version used by the dev, hence the issue and the need to upgrade.

Went to the AntiChamber page to see if there was a demo, and they don't even list AMD cards in the requirement section. Requirements: Nvidia 8000 series or higher.

Didn't look like it was a physics heavy game, but now I'm intrigued. I love physics based games. And, no, I'm not being sarcastic.

I have seen nothing an hour in that looks like it's the modern definition of a "physics based game". It has physics, I mean you can jump and fall, but I haven't seen any puzzles that require you to do anything like qube for example.

So... Omerta. Right. I can't even "log-in" to the game, because they wanted me to create an account, and they won't send an activation email. I've re-sent the email with the option several times with no luck.

Sigh.

Edit: Well, goodness. Here

On the official forum, other users had the same problem. Activation emails were sent 4-5 hours later. Why the hell would it take that long?! Definitely not going to be playing tonight :/

And why we need an email log-in anyways is troubling. Bah.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is not even in the top ten most sold games, which is disappointing.

How is the PC port btw? Any impressions from AMD users?

Same.

Just a Heads up, 1&2 don't play like the other Ys games. It has a silly "Run into people at angles to auto attack them" battle system.

I have a 5850 and it's a locked 60 @ 2560x1440. I didn't have any issues with the last one, so I'm probably not the person you're looking for.

The PC port is really good so far.
