Why did everyone miss the 15pounds price of Spec Ops (PS3) on thehut :(
Now it's sold out. Was that price since 29th and I totally missed (as in too dumb to see the popup) the price change.

And it even includes the Vita version. And they sell the vita version separately for only 40pounds lol
Would get this, but it will bomba

It's £15 and in stock at ShoppeTwo...

Sly (PS3) was also £24.70 at Amazon about a week or so ago. Yeah, it'll probably bomb unfortunately. Vita pricing in general is insane. They seem to want to kill off the system early.

but 2.50pounds shipping :( and I can't set a password at Shoppe anymore, because I forgot the secret question and customer support doesn't respond

btw. reposting from previous page so that noone misses it:
Long Kiss Goodnight (BluRay) - 4.50pounds/6.50EUR <-- super awesome movie

@ play.com (and play.com as seller) will be gone fast

Link to play.com as a seller is this one:

More nom game stuff...

Play Doh: 16 5oz Pots (16 Different colours) - £9.99 @ Stewart and Gibson Ltd (Amazon)

Digging around Zavvi, this seems good too...

(Preorder) Persona 4 Arena (PS3/360) - £26.08 @ Zavvi (use code ZPOGTEN)

...cannot see much else that the codes helps though.
They've also got a nice preorder deal on "Persona 4: Golden". This has probably been discussed before, but I've never bought anything from Zavvi and I hear their service can be pretty bad. How are they with international (EU) orders? I'm in Sweden, should I even bother with this preorder from them or would that just risk becoming a huge pain?

I've been ordering from TheHut & Zavvi to Finland for years and have only had trouble (other than delivery taking a bit longer than usual) a couple of times (and both times got decent customer service that helped, in my situation). I usually get orders in about a week, give or take 1-2 days (say they send me a game on monday, I might get it on Friday or sometimes even on Thursday the same week, but usually it arrives on Monday or Tuesday next week)

I'm in Belgium. 43 orders at The Hut, 16 at Zavvi (they are both member of The Hut Group, as is Sendit) over the last 5 years. Never did an order not arrive. I also don't remember anything being packaged so badly that it was damaged severely. Just minor dents in cardboard boxes (of special editions) sometimes, but you get that with other retailers as well. I also never got sent anything I didn't want, like some people on here (they got the regular edition of Tales of Graces instead of the day-1 edition). So never had to return anything to them. I did return some stuff I got from other sites: Play.com (broken jewel cases, used game instead of new), WOWHD (used game instead of new) and GameSeek (used game instead of new).

Just yesterday I got a little stressed out because of their "payment problems" with my Ni no Kuni preorder. But they resolved that in the end, dispatched my game and I'm hoping to get it soon.

Their customer service is usually rather slow (2 days or more), but I've always gotten a reply (contacted them 3-4 times in all those years).

Those are just my experiences, some people on here have been screwed over by them in the past. But for me they have always been ok.

I can sign that. I think one order out of 200 orders got lost or something like that. Even my Jurassic Park LE order showed up after 1 month and 1 week and they did already send out another one before that, which also arrived. In comparison - I ordered <10 items from zoverstocks via play.com + amazon.uk and 3 of them never arrived. According to them they send everything out from UK (zavvi/thehut send out stuff from outside EU), which means they should arrive here after a few days at most. It almost seems that they purposefully don't send out some orders. They also didn't reply AT ALL to any messages. play support had to refund me. Never again. Another play order (from actually play.com) is still MIA and all my zavvi/thehut orders since then have already arrived.

Any preorder deals for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate yet?

Amazon and DVD.co.uk/Base have the 3DS version for £32.99, Shopto have it for £29.86

The Wii U one is £38-39ish everywhere.

Anywhere cheaper than that?

How come? Never played it before, only got a 460.
Because of the region-locking shenanigans. It's the first PS3 game to be region-locked and this was purely because Atlus didn't want to lose profits to importers. It wouldn't have been as bad if it wasn't for the fact that it has taken, what, 7-8 months to be released in Europe.

Thanks a lot Famassu, foobarry and jimi_dini for sharing your experiences of ordering from Zavvi when outside of the UK. I think I might go for it, I couldn't resist buying Racing Transformed via the deal at Greenmangaming despite having sworn not to buy any more games before P4G (massive backlog), so now I kinda feel I have to recouperate some of the money I spent on Racing Transformed (which wasn't that much anyway due to GMG awesomeness).. :)

Would anyone like a £20 off voucher for the Ubishop?
You could use it to get Rayman Legends for £20 with it...

First to quote this message gets it.
The code was sent to me when Ubi messed up on an Assassin's Creed III order, so I presume it would work for someone else.

yes please!

EDIT: oh ok i dont need it, i would have to pay per credit card .. no paypal ...

No problem, I've managed to save a lot with this thread, so thought I'd give some of it back :).
Okay, it seems like the code is only redeemable in the UK store, and I cannot buy anything on there from austria. So someone else can have it.

It's also £10 for a physical copy at Amazon UK marketplace (the LE for PC that is). I actually got it from Amazon itself for that price a while ago.

Nope. 10 € is by far the better deal for me after checking the marketplace offers. I don't live in the UK, so shipping is expensive for me on Amazon UK.

It sounds like people who ordered the Ni No Kuni Wizard's Edition from the Zavvi eBay auction are receiving their games today. Good times indeed!

Has anybody ever placed the contents of many of these snaps together to create a super-snap? ... for £3.25 the results could be interesting!
To enrol as a full GAF member, you may undergo this test...For SCIENCE!

I believe most people on this forum has more sense than to make one though, lol.
Edit: I remembered when these were super cheap as well =/, but because of it annoying little twerps would also buy and throw them at birds and people cause they're training to become future douchebags =|

For Scandinavians, there is a Ubisoft Sale at CDON.com. Assassin's Creed: Liberation is 24.95€/197SEK and DD PC versions of FarCry 3 and AC3 are 22,95€/199SEK each.

Yeah, this was posted several pages ago. It's nothing too fancy now that the 500 SEK Assassin's Creed Anthology has been sold out (all AC games for 500 SEK). And I don't play games on PC, but FC3 and AC3 for 200 SEK seems pretty expensive. My buddy got both of them for less on either greenmangaming or steam; I forgot which one.

Ubishop messed up big time on my AC3 order too. Why didn't I get a voucher? :/ Ubishop is so horrible. Their support is so rude and incompetent too.
