Finally got around to listening to it, and the beat and hook - so smooth, but man, I'm not feeling the intro and the beat switch-up, Jay-Z's verse neither.

i dont like the intro, the song itself is chill but doesnt really grab me. its bubbly for sure but feels like ambitious elevator music at the moment. jay z beat change doesnt bug me though, i thought it was pretty nice.

I'm already loving the direction of this album. Laid back and chill as fuck.

Timberlake also revealed that most of the album was recorded before his October wedding to Jessica Biel and that it will be somewhat reminiscent of his 2006 FutureSex/LoveSounds album.

Suit and Tie has Sexy Back syndrome for me. I liked it initially, but it's grown on me like crazy. But you are right though. That Girl and Pusher Love Girl are waaaaaaaaaaaay better. Wonder how many more songs have "Girl" in it...

JT's comeback has been incredibly underwhelming. That was a long time to wait for Suit & Tie, which simply turned out to be the barest essentials towards putting out a somewhat likeable song without taking anything to the next level.

If that song and the others posted in this thread are anything to go by, his album will be overrated and will be held up as some kind of music-saving venture by his stans, when the gospel truth is that it'll be sitting hopelessly in the middle of mediocrity. There are others who have been doing what he's done - just better - in the time he's been gone.
